The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring a power device. The method includes obtaining at least one frequency spectrum of at least one physical component of the power device, wherein the at least one frequency spectrum comprises at least one eigenfrequency of the at least one physical component of the power device; measuring, using at least one sensor, a vibroacoustic signal of the power device; and determining a signal contribution of the at least one physical component of the power device to the vibroacoustic signal based on the obtained at least one frequency spectrum. The present disclosure also relates to a respective monitoring device and a system including at least one sensor and a monitoring device.

An on-load tap changer includes a static unit including fixed contacts for connection to taps at a transformer winding, a dynamic unit including at least one movable contact for selectively contacting one of the fixed contacts during operation of the transformer, and includes a rotational positioning device for adjusting the rotational position of the dynamic unit relative to the static unit during at least one of assembly or disassembly of the tap changer.

A device including a high voltage apparatus enclosing a fluid for providing cooling and/or electrical insulation of the apparatus, and a detector for one or more physical properties of the fluid positioned spaced apart from the housing. The device includes a pipe assembly for housing a fluid, whereby the pipe assembly is arranged between the detector equipment and the housing such that the fluid is extended without interruption in the pipe assembly. The fluid in the pipe assembly is in communication with the fluid in the housing, and the detector equipment is in direct communication with the fluid in the pipe assembly. The detector equipment is positioned below a top level of the housing and at a safe distance from the housing of the apparatus, which makes it possible to carry out inspection, testing, maintenance, and calibration of the detector equipment without taking the high voltage apparatus out of operation.

The method includes: a) providing an electromagnetic core with windings, b) suspending an OLTC insulation barrier from the electromagnetic induction device by a suspension, wherein the OLTC interface barrier arrangement is arranged to act as a barrier between an electromagnetic core housing and an OLTC, and wherein the OLTC interface barrier arrangement is provided with a first set of electrical connections arranged to be connected to the windings and a second set of electrical connections arranged to be connected to the OLTC, c) connecting the first set of electrical connections to the windings, and d) subjecting the windings and the OLTC interface barrier arrangement to a drying process.

A high voltage shielding device including a main body having an enclosing outer solid insulating wall, an outer electrode arranged on the solid insulating wall providing a first level of insulation to the outer electrode, and a first inner electrode which is uninsulated or has a coating providing a second level of insulation, which second level of insulation is lower than the first level of insulation. High voltage shielding device and a system comprising the same

A tap changer for connection to a regulating winding of a rated regulation voltage is provided. The tap changer having a linear tap selector having at least one current collector and a linear arrangement of fixed contacts. Tap changer further includes a shielding structure arranged to shield the tap selector from an external electrical field. The shielding structure includes: a first shielding part arranged to be electrically connected to a current collector; and a second shielding part formed at least partly by the fixed contacts. The first and second shielding parts are separated so that the distance between the first and second shielding parts reaches or exceeds the rated regulating voltage insulation distance of the tap changer.

Tap changer

The invention relates to a high voltage device for providing electrical insulation of a conductor extending through the device. The device includes a hollow insulator; a conductor extending through the hollow insulator; a field gradient decreasing arrangement including a condenser core and a voltage grading shield. The condenser core and the voltage grading shield are arranged around the conductor inside the hollow insulator in a manner so that the voltage grading shield is arranged around at least part of the condenser core.

A diverter switch with an operating member and an electric circuit. The electric circuit has a main branch and a resistance branch connected in parallel with the main branch. Each branch includes a contact and a vacuum switch. The resistance branch also includes a resistance. The main rotary selector contact is always operated before the resistance contact. The operating member is arranged, during operation, always to rotate the main contact in one and the same direction of rotation. Also a corresponding method for operating a diverter switch and use of such a switch.
