A bumper for a vehicle includes a bumper crossbeam and two crash boxes extending away from a back of the bumper crossbeam. A one-piece blank made of fiber-reinforced sheet material extends from a wall section of the bumper crossbeam connecting the crash boxes, right into the crash boxes.

Bumper for a vehicle

A crash box for a vehicle includes a body-side end face, a bumper-side end face and a plurality of supporting walls, which run in different planes extending in a longitudinal direction of the crash box between the end faces. At least one of the end faces is designed as a vault.

A bumper module for a vehicle has a cross member including at least one shell made of fiber-reinforced plastic which is stiffened by plastic material, in particular ribs, injection molded between mutually opposite walls of the shell.

A bumper module for a vehicle includes a cross beam and two fastening flanges for fastening the cross beam to a longitudinal body beam. A layer included of fiber-reinforced plastic extends continuously from the cross beam until into the fastening flange.

A bumper module for a vehicle includes at least one shaped part that is unitarily deep-drawn from a sheet material. The shaped part has two connecting flanges facing a back side for fastening to side members of the vehicle and an arch which is pre-curved towards a front side connecting the connecting flanges. At least in lateral portions of the arch, the sheet material is laid into folds, which are elongated from the back side towards the front side.
