A premium class passenger suite that includes a main seat positioned in the suite together with separate bed. The bed has a flexible mattress of predetermined dimensions and is movable between a stowed position to one side of the main seat and a deployed position above and separate from the main seat. A drive apparatus is provided for driving the bed between the stowed and deployed positions. The main seat is configured to be movable between a seating position when the bed is stowed, and a stowed position with a lowered seat back when the bed is deployed for use.

Premium class aircraft passenger suite

A transportation passenger suite, including first and second spaced-apart end walls that define an at least partial enclosure adapted to be positioned along a longitudinal axis of a passenger cabin. A first seating assembly is positioned in the enclosure adjacent the first end wall of the passenger suite and facing in a first direction. A second seating assembly is positioned in the enclosure adjacent the second end wall of the passenger suite and faces in a second direction generally perpendicular to the first direction. A first table is positioned in the enclosure for use by an occupant seated in the first seating assembly, and a second table is positioned in the enclosure for use by an occupant seated in the second seating assembly.

Premium class aircraft passenger suite with separate seating areas

An aircraft passenger suite including a seat configured for movement between an upright position and a horizontal bed position, an ottoman positioned apart from the passenger seat, and at least one armrest assembly configured for vertical movement, wherein the seat, ottoman and at least one armrest reside in horizontal alignment to form a bed in the horizontal bed position.

An aircraft seating arrangement including pairs of seat groupings arranged with the seats of each seat grouping parallel with the other, and with each seat and seat pair positioned at an offset angle in relation to the longitudinal axis of the cabin. Privacy shells enclose the seats and include amenities such as a viewing monitor, and accommodation for the feet and lower legs when the seat is in the lie-flat condition.

The present invention provides an aircraft passenger seat assembly that includes: (a) first and second seats selectively movable between upright and reclined positions and adapted for being positioned beside and at inwardly-facing angles relative to each other; (b) a center console having a relatively wide aft end and a relatively narrow forward end for being positioned between the first and second seats; and &#xa9; the relatively wide aft end of the center console including first and second foot wells therein adapted to permit the feet of a passenger seated in an aft-positioned first or second seat to extend therein when the aft-positioned first or second seat is in the recline position.

The present invention provides an aircraft passenger seat assembly that includes: (a) first and second seats selectively movable between upright and reclined positions and adapted for being positioned beside and at inwardly-facing angles relative to each other; (b) a center console having a relatively wide aft end and a relatively narrow forward end for being positioned between the first and second seats; and (c) the relatively wide aft end of the center console including first and second foot wells therein adapted to permit the feet of a passenger seated in an aft-positioned first or second seat to extend therein when the aft-positioned first or second seat is in the recline position.

A passenger seating arrangement includes a first seat unit, facing in a first direction; a first ottoman having a first support surface positioned to receive the feet of a passenger seated in the first seat unit; a second seat unit facing in a second direction generally opposite to the first direction; and a second ottoman disposed laterally adjacent to the first ottoman and having a second support surface positioned to receive the feet of a passenger seated in the second seat unit.

Lounge seating arrangement

An electrical connector, including a first electrically-conductive connector element, a second electrically-conductive connector element for being mated with the first connector element for allowing electrical current to flow through the electrical connector from an upstream to a downstream side, and a retainer for receiving and carrying the first connector element. The retainer includes locking anchors for mounting the retainer into complementary locking ports in a mounting bracket whereby the electrical connector is releasably carried on the mounting bracket. The retainer includes a retainer flange on which the locking anchors are mounted. The second connector element includes a connector flange for being mounted on an opposite side of the mounting bracket from the retainer. The connector flange has holes therein for receiving the locking anchors.

Quick release electrical connector

A passenger seat assembly convertible between a two-seat configuration and a three-seat configuration, and including a seat assembly base and first, second and third seats for carrying respective seat bottom and seat back cushions, the first and third seats defining outboard seats and the second seat defining a center seat. First and second armrests are mounted between the first and third outboard seats on opposing sides of the center seat and are moveable between an upright use position and a retracted storage position above the seat bottom of the center seat. A tray table is mounted for movement between a raised retracted position wherein a bottom surface of the tray table defines at least a portion of the seat back of the center seat, and a lowered use position wherein the tray table resides above the seat bottom of the center seat to provide additional seating space and a tray table for the occupants of the outboard seats.

Convertible passenger seat assembly

A reclinable passenger seat having a seat frame mounting a seat bottom, a seat back extending upwardly from the seat bottom, and a legrest assembly mounted adjacent a forward end of the seat bottom for being selectively extended generally downwardly and outwardly from the seat bottom for supporting the legs of the passenger. The legrest assembly also includes a legrest diaphragm mounted for pivotal movement in relation to the seat bottom and a legrest extension diaphragm telescoped within the legrest diaphragm for being selectively extended and retracted relative to the legrest diaphragm to provide an appropriate length leg support for the passenger. The legrest diaphragm and the legrest extension diaphragm each include respective pairs of spaced-apart rails and a fabric attached under tension to the rails for forming a taut, resilient support for the legs of the passenger.
