A heat exchanger includes: a first heat transfer tube unit including first heat transfer tubes arranged in parallel along a first direction within a horizontal plane; and a second heat transfer tube unit including second heat transfer tubes arranged in parallel with one another along a second direction that intersects the first direction within the horizontal plane. Each of the first heat transfer tubes and the second heat transfer tubes includes: straight portions arranged in parallel in a vertical direction; and one or more curved portions that make end portions of the straight portions communicate with each other. The straight portions of the first heat transfer tube unit and the straight portions of the first heat transfer tube unit are stacked on each other alternately.

Heat exchanger and absorption refrigerator

An air conditioner is provided that includes an exhaust heat recovery unit for recovering exhaust heat in a heat transfer medium, a heat transfer medium passage in which the heat transfer medium outputted from the exhaust heat recovery unit flows, an auxiliary heating device, heats the heat transfer medium, an absorption chiller driven by heat of the heat transfer medium, a refrigerant passage, through which a refrigerant outputted from the absorption chiller flows, an indoor unit to which the refrigerant is supplied through the refrigerant passage, a heat transfer medium temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the heat transfer medium flowing through the heat transfer medium passage, a refrigerant temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant passage, and a control portion for controlling an operation of driving the auxiliary heating device.

Air conditioner

The air conditioner comprises heat transfer medium temperature adjusting device for adjusting the temperature of a heat transfer medium, an absorption chiller having as a heat source the heat transfer medium supplied from the heat transfer medium temperature adjusting device via a heat transfer medium line through which the heat transfer medium conducts, a valve provided in the heat transfer medium line , a by-pass line branching off from the valve , and an indoor unit supplied with a refrigerant from the absorption chiller or the heat transfer medium from the heat transfer medium temperature adjusting device via the by-pass line . Thereby, at the time of heating, the valve is switched to allow the heat transfer medium to pass through the by-pass line , so that the heat transfer medium can be directly supplied via the by-pass line to the indoor unit . Hence, in the heating operation, the devices such as pumps involving the operation of the absorption chiller can be stopped, so that the air conditioner can be improved in the energy saving.
