According to one embodiment of the present invention, an X-ray CT device includes: a front dome cover and rear dome cover that include a fixed cover and a plurality of segmented movable covers; a slide mechanism that enables the movable covers to slide relative to the fixed cover; and a dome-diameter driving unit that controls the slide mechanism to change a dome diameter of a gantry dome.

X-ray CT device

Obtain a tomographic image of a patient table in advance in a state in which the object is not placed on the patient table. Obtain a tomographic image of the patient table with the object placed on the patient table. This tomographic image consists of an image of a patient table. The displacement calculation part determines the vertical displacement of images of the patient table in a non-loaded state and the tomographic image of the patient table in a loaded state. Meanwhile, markers are placed on the side of the patient table to indicate the displacement detecting position (reference position). The corrected image-forming part corrects the vertical positions of image data of the tomographic image in the loaded state based on the calculated displacement.

Medical image diagnosis apparatus and the control method thereof

An X-ray CT apparatus comprises a rotating part, a fixed frame and a stand. The rotating part mounts an X-ray tube and a detector. The fixed frame supports the rotating part. The stand settled to a floor supports the fixed frame. The stand includes a lower member, supporters and a fixing member. The lower member is settled to the floor. Each of the supporters settled to the lower member supports each side of the fixed frame. The fixing member fixes a lower part of the fixed frame with the lower member.

X-ray CT apparatus

A radiation detector of this invention includes a scintillator for converting an X-ray incident from a surface side into light, at least one photodiode chip having a plurality of photodiodes for converting the converted light into electrical signals, at least one switching chip having a plurality of switching elements for reading out a plurality of signals from the plurality of photodiodes, and at least one data acquisition chip having a plurality of data acquisition systems for amplifying the plurality of readout signals and converting the signals into digital signals. The photodiode chip, the switching chip, and the data acquisition chip are commonly mounted on a rigid multilayer wiring board.

A gantry of an X-ray computer tomography apparatus comprises a base, two main posts mounted on the base at right angles, a ring frame tiltably supported by the two main posts, a rotation ring rotatably supported by the ring frame, an X-ray tube mounted on the rotation ring, and an X-ray detector mounted on the rotation ring, opposing to the X-ray tube. The props obliquely abut on the main posts to reinforce them.

Gantry of an X-ray computer tomography apparatus

An X-ray CT apparatus includes a pair of an involute gear and a magnetic sensor as a structure for detecting the rotation of the gantry rotary section in a non-contact fashion. The involute gear imparts a periodic change in the magnetic flux in the circumferential direction of a circle coaxial with the gantry rotary section. The magnetic sensor including the magnet and the magnetic reluctance (MR) elements detects the change in the magnetic flux caused by the rotation of the involute gear together with the gantry rotary section to generate a pulse signal conforming with the change in the magnetic flux. The pulse signal obtained from the magnetic sensor is supplied to the servo amplifier, the CT main control section, etc. via the signal processing unit.

An X-ray CT radiation detector includes a heat insulating case mounted on a rotating base, a radiation incident window formed in the heat insulating case, a detection panel on which detection elements for detecting radiation incident through the radiation incident window are arrayed. The detection panel is positioned to form a fluid circulatory path in the heat insulating case. A circulator for circulating the fluid is placed in the circulatory path. The circulatory path and circulation of the fluid by the circulator make it possible to make the temperature of the detection panel relatively uniform.

An X-ray CT apparatus includes a frame,and a radiographic unit accommodated in the frame,. The upper portion of the frame,is shaped to be generally semicircular. In this X-ray CT apparatus, almost electric components,are positioned in the lower part of the frame,collectively. Consequently, such a positioning of the electric components makes it easy to realize a shielding structure for the components against the electromagnetic noises. A supply pipe for supplying air to the peripheral surface of a circuit board container unit is provided in a test head. Nozzles are connected to the supply pipe. Each nozzle has at least one hole opposing a circuit board and corresponding to one IC on the circuit board. The circuit board has a parts mounted portion that generates a small amount of heat. The circuit board is covered with a case. A vent hole is formed on the microscope column side. A discharge pipe is connected to the vent hole and communicates with the outside of the test head. With this arrangement, each circuit board can be uniformly and efficiently cooled.

An X-ray CT system includes a fixed frame portion and a rotating frame portion. Being provided with X-ray tubes, the rotating frame portion is arranged so as to rotate with respect to the fixed frame portion. Vane members for feeding air are secured on the rotating frame portion. In operation, with the rotation of the vane members together with the rotating frame portion, cool air is introduced into the rotating frame portion. Consequently, heated instruments, such as the X-ray tubes, in the rotating frame can be cooled down effectively.

A multi-layer wiring substrate includes an aluminum nitride ceramic substrate, a multi-layer wiring part having an electric insulating layer of an organic polymer, a die pad for mounting thereon an electronic part, and a thermal via of a column shape for effectively dissipating heat generated in the mounted electric part. The multi-layer wiring part is integrally formed on the ceramic substrate. The die pad is provided on a surface of the multi-layer wiring part. One end of the thermal via connects to the die pad, while the other end of the thermal via passes through the multi-layer wiring part and extends at least to the ceramic substrate. The thermal via is electrically insulated from the multi-layer wiring part. In the second multi-layer wiring substrate, at least one of end portions of the above thermal via is wider than a section of the other portion of the thermal via, resulting in further improvement of the heat dissipating property.

A heat sink according to the invention comprises a multilayered body prepared by laying one upon the other a plurality of heat sink fin elements having pin-fin sections formed by cutting a number of slits through thin plates of a thermally conductive material with spacers, each being inserted between two adjacent heat sink fin elements to separate them by a given distance. The method of preparing a heat sink comprises steps of preparing heat sink fin elements by forming a number of slits and a surrounding marginal frame area in each of a first set of thermally conductive thin plates, preparing spacers by cutting out a central area of and forming a surrounding marginal frame area in each of a second set of thermally conductive thin plates having a shape same as that of the first set of thin plates, laying said heat sink fin elements and said spacers alternately one upon the other and bonding said assembled heat sink fin elements and spacers together at the outer surface or contacted areas to form a multilayered body.

A rotary anode x-ray tube includes a vacuum vessel in which a cathode, an anode target, a connecting rod, a rotor, bearings, and a heat conducting plate are arranged. The cathode electrode emits electrons. The anode target generates x-rays when electrons emitted from the cathode electrode collide with the target. The connecting rod supports the anode target. The connecting rod is constituted by a rod member consisting of a pulverized sintered material. The rotor is mounted on the connecting rod. The anode target is rotatably supported by the bearings. The heat conducting plate is arranged between the anode target and the rotor. A heat conducting plate made of a material having excellent heat conduction characteristics can be arranged between the anode target and the rotor. The connecting rod is manufactured by processes such as plasticization including tube spinning.
