A showcase where an illumination device is placed outside a receiving chamber to enable effective use of the space in the receiving chamber. The inside of an insulated box body () having front glass () fitted in a front opening () is defined to form a receiving chamber (). An upper evaporator () is placed in an upper insulating layer () of the insulated box body () so as to be in contact with a cooling plate () defining the upper surface of the receiving chamber (). An opening () is formed in that portion of the cooling plate () with which the upper evaporator () is not in contact, and a receiving space () is formed in that portion of the upper insulating layer () to which the opening () faces. A holder () is placed at the receiving space (), and inside the holder () is received and fixed an LED illumination device (). The opening () is closed by a cover () with packing () in between, and the inside of the holder () is maintained in a sealed state.

In this dishwasher, a springutilized for moving a doorup and down is accommodated within a columnof a washer body, so as to be confined within the column, whereby the appearance becomes better while the springis protected against water. Also, the space between left and right columnscan be utilized as a washing chamber, thus making it possible to expand the washing chamber, whereby the dishwasher can be made smaller while keeping the capacity of the washing chamber

Dish washer

In the dishwasher, a washing water distribution pipe on which washing nozzles are installed is arranged within a washing chamber, and is connected removably to a first connecting pipe that communicates with the outlet side of a washing pump. In the same way, a rinsing water distribution pipe on which rinsing nozzles are installed is arranged within the washing chamber, and is connected removably to a second connecting pipe that communicates with the outlet side of a rinsing pump. These connections are made within a washing water tank in the bottom of the washing chamber, therefore the washing water distribution pipe and the rinsing water distribution pipe can be easily installed and removed from the washing chamber. Moreover, the washing water distribution pipe and the rinsing water distribution pipe are unitized, so handling is extremely easy.

Dish washing machine

A dishwasher is a type in which a part of wash water contained in a wash water tank is replaced with rinse water every washing cycle. The dishwasher determines whether a present washing cycle is in timing of executing a detergent increase supply processing or in timing of executing a detergent normal supply processing (S). Based on this determination result, by the execution of the detergent increase supply processing, a supply amount of the detergent is increased (S). Consequently, in the dishwasher, the detergent concentration in the wash water is properly adjusted.

A low temperature storage cabinet having a freezing cycle system composed of a compressor, a condenser, a throttle and an evaporator, a cabinet temperature sensor for detecting an inside temperature of the cabinet, and an electric fan provided in the cabinet for circulating cooled air in the interior of the cabinet, wherein the compressor in the freezing cycle system is activated in response to rise of the inside temperature of the cabinet and deactivated in response to a fall in the inside temperature of the cabinet, and wherein the rate of operation of the electric fan is decreased in accordance with a decrease of temperature or pressure of refrigerant in the freezing cycle system during deactivation of the compressor to thereby reduce consumption of the electric power.

Horizontal refrigerator

A low temperature storage cabinet wherein a heater is embedded in an opening frame structure of the cabinet to prevent the occurrence of dewfall on a surface of the frame structure to be brought into contact with a door hinged to the cabinet body, and wherein operation of a compressor is controlled in accordance with an inside temperature of the cabinet to maintain the inside temperature of the cabinet at a predetermined value. In the storage cabinet, the heater is activated synchronously in response to operation of the compressor and is activated in accordance with outside humidity or inside temperature of the cabinet during stopping of the compressor.

A refrigerator includes a support panel extending sideways from a bottom of a storage heat insulating box at one side of the box. An evaporator heat insulating box is provided for accommodating an evaporator and is formed at the one side of the storage heat insulating box with an equipment accommodating space being formed between itself and the base panel. A back panel extends from the rear wall of the storage heat insulating box so as to form rear walls of the evaporator heat insulating box and the equipment accommodating space, respectively. A side panel is continuous to the back panel so as to define an air circulation space together with a side of the evaporator heat insulating box. A front panel is continuous to the side panel so as to provide a front of the evaporator heat insulating box and the equipment accommodating space. The front panel has in its lower portion a suction hole communicating with the equipment accommodating space and in its upper portion an exhaust hole communicating with the air circulation space. Also, a fan is provided in the equipment accommodating space, and can be driven to draw air in through the suction hole to cool the condenser and the compressor. The drawn air is discharged as hot air through the air circulation space at one side of the evaporator compartment and the exhaust hole.

A refrigerator includes a heat insulating body having a front with an opening, a left-hand side, a right-hand side and a ceiling, thereby defining a cold storage compartment, a partition member disposed on either side of the body and having a blowout hole through which cold air is supplied so as to flow along the ceiling, a refrigeration unit including an evaporator and supplying cold air produced by the evaporator through the blowout hole into the cold storage compartment, and a cold air guide member mounted on the ceiling of the body widthwise with respect to the cold storage compartment so as to hang down from the ceiling of the body and to be inclined so that the guide member inwardly retreats as it goes toward a lower end thereof.

A dishwashing machine the washing tub of which is opened at the top and is provided at its bottom portion with lower nozzle arms 51, 52. An upper opening of the washing tub is closed or opened by a door 20 which is provided with a top plate 21 of semi-circular cross-section and rotatable in its semi-circular direction along a pair of side walls of the washing tub. An upper nozzle arm is provided inside of the top plate at the central portion thereof. A water supply passage is provided along an internal surface of the door to supply a portion of hot wash water or rinse water supplied to the lower nozzle arms to the upper nozzle arm. When the upper opening of the washing tub is opened, the door and upper nozzle arm are housed in a rear portion of said washing tub.

Disclosed is a process for washing dishes, which comprises carrying a rack with dishes to be washed into a downstream dishwasher by a rack carry-in unit; forwarding the rack after completion of washing in the dishwasher to a lifter unit disposed adjacent to the dishwasher with or without the aid of a rack carry-out mechanism; pulling the rack to a predetermined position in the lift by a rack loading device both disposed in the lifter unit; ascending or descending the lift to be positioned adjacent to a necessary pair of brackets of a wagon set to the outlet side of the lifter unit to carry out the rack loaded on the lift onto the pair of brackets; and ascending the lift after completion of carrying out the rack from the rack carry-out position and allowing the tapers, formed in the lift, facing the wagon so as to push the rack fully to a predetermined position in the wagon; and a system for practicing the process; wherein the arrangement of the respective units may be L-shaped or I-shaped, and the rack carry-out mechanism can be omitted in the I-shaped arrangement.

A dishwashing machine having a washing chamber, a wash tank provided at a bottom of the washing chamber to store an amount of hot wash water therein, a wash pump mounted to a bottom portion of the tank to pump up the wash water therefrom, a pair of wash arms supplied with the wash water by the wash pump, a rinse pump arranged to pump up fresh hot water supplied thereto from a source of hot water, and a pair of rinse arms supplied with the fresh hot water by the rinse pump, a drain box arranged within an upper portion of the tank and associated with a side wall of the tank to form an opening in communication with the bottom portion of the tank, a drain pipe connected to a bottom wall of the drain box and being extended outwardly through the bottom wall of the tank to drain the wash water received by the drain box, an overflow pipe secured to the bottom wall of the drain box to permit the upward flow of wash water from the bottom of the tank, and a tiltable plate arranged above the drain box to introduce the wash water flowing down from the washing chamber into the drain box when placed in a first position in prewashing operation and to introduce the wash water or fresh hot water into the bottom portion of the tank when placed in a second position in washing and rinsing operation.

An electric control apparatus for a dishwashing machine having a washing chamber, a wash pump arranged to be driven by an electric motor for pumping up wash water from a wash water storage tank in the washing chamber, and a revolving wash arm arranged within the washing chamber to be supplied with the wash water from the pump for directing jet streams of the wash water to a rack of tableware placed in the washing chamber. The electric control apparatus includes a microcomputer programmed to memorize control data defined in relation to the lapse of washing time such that the supply amount of wash water to the wash arm is intermittently increased and decreased after gradually increased up to a predetermined amount at an initial stage of washing operation and to control the rotational speed of the electric motor in accordance with the lapse of washing time based on the control data.
