A clamp device for mounting elongated components such as pipes on a support such as a car body comprises a first clamp to be mounted on the support and a second clamp to be mounted in a recess in the first clamp. The clamp device is constructed to permit limited transverse movement of the second clamp in the recess, to accommodate bending or curving of elongated components held by the second clamp. The first clamp may also hold elongated components.

Clamp device for pipe or similar component

A capped clip integrally includes a fixing portion to be fixed to a workpiece, a clamp portion having a pair of clamp arms standing from the fixing portion in a U-shape to hold a pipe or the like, and a cap portion for closing an opening of the clamp portion. The capped clip further includes a thin hinge connecting the cap portion to the outer surface of a first one of the clamp arms to allow the cap portion to be pivotally moved thereabout a protrusion protruding outward from said first clamp arm a recess formed in the cap portion to receive the protrusion therein when the cap portion is pivotally moved to its closed position, an engagement shoulder formed in the recess to engage with the protrusion, and a pair of walls defining a portion of the recess to be located on the opposite sides of the protrusion when the cap portion is in its closed position to prevent the protrusion from coming out of the recess.

Capped clip for pipe, electric cable or the like

A mat fastener has male and female grommets made of resin material. The female grommet includes an outer tube portion to be inserted into a hole in a mat; and a concave flange at the outer periphery of one end of the outer tube portion. The male grommet includes an inner tube portion to be inserted into the outer tube portion; and a concave flange at the outer periphery of one end of the inner tube portion. The tube portions are coupled to each other with the flanges of the grommets contacting opposite side surfaces of the mat around the mat hole, so that the mat is sandwiched between concavities of the flanges.
