A stationary electric power system including a low profile secondary battery that includes a battery body including an electric power generating element accommodated in an exterior package member. The low profile secondary battery includes a spacer disposed between the battery body and other battery body when the other battery body is stacked on the battery body. The spacer fixes the battery body in a predetermined position. The battery body and the spacer are connected with each other through an elastic body.

Within outer cover memberof laminated film including resin layer, there is installed electricity generating elementthereby to constitute battery body, peripheral portionof the outer cover member being sealed. Spaceris provided which has fixing portionby which the battery body is fixed to predetermined position, the spacer being arranged between outer peripheral portion of the battery body and outer peripheral portion of another battery body put on the battery body. In range Hthat includes an overlapped portionbetween the outer peripheral portion and the spacer and is provided at least around the fixing portion of the outer peripheral portion, there is provided elastic resin portionproduced through insert molding of elastic resin. This thin battery exhibits satisfied stability in set condition against vibration of motor vehicle. This thin battery exhibits satisfied fixing stability against vehicle vibration.

Thin battery

A cell case is provided which maintains cell temperature low by reducing heat reception during no power generation, while ensuring heat dissipation performance during generating power, and which is capable of suppressing reduction of cell capacity due to thermal degradation. A structure for attaching the cell case is also provided. The cell case has a sealed structure and houses a battery module. The cell case has a supporting mechanism which forms a space between the outer surface of the battery module and the inner surface of the case. A first cover layer has a radiation emissivity larger than that of the outer surface of the battery module and is disposed on the outer surface of the cell module. A second cover layer has a radiation emissivity larger than that of the inner surface of the case and is disposed on the inner surface of the case.
