An absorbent according to the present invention absorbs COor HS contained in flue gas emitted from a power generating plant such as a thermal plant, and contains three or more amine compounds selected from linear or cyclic amine compounds having a primary amino group, and linear or cyclic amine compounds having a secondary amino group. By way of a synergetic effect of the mixture of these compounds, the absorption speed of COor HS absorption is improved. A small amount of COcontained in a large amount of boiler flue gas can be absorbed efficiently.

A COrecovery system includes an absorption tower and a regeneration tower. COrich solution is produced in the absorption tower by absorbing COfrom CO-containing gas. The COrich solution is conveyed to the regeneration tower where lean solution is produced from the rich solution by removing CO. A regeneration heater heats lean solution that accumulates near a bottom portion of the regeneration tower with saturated steam thereby producing steam condensate from the saturated steam. A steam-condensate heat exchanger heats the rich solution conveyed from the absorption tower to the regeneration tower with the steam condensate.

A COrecovery apparatus according to the present invention includes: an absorber () that brings CO-containing flue gas (A) into counter-current contact with COabsorbent () to reduce CO, and a regenerator () that regenerates rich solution () that has absorbed CO, in which lean solution () having COreduced in the regenerator () is reused in the absorber (). The absorber () further includes a COabsorbing unit () that recovers COcontained in the flue gas (A), and the COabsorbent () that has absorbed COis extracted from a rich side of the COabsorbing unit () to exterior, cooled, and then supplied to a position nearer to a lean side of the absorber () with respect to the position at which the COabsorbent () is extracted.

An absorbent liquid according to the present invention is an absorbent liquid for absorbing COor HS or both from gas, in which the absorbent liquid includes an alkanolamine as a first compound component, and a second component including a nitrogen-containing compound having in a molecule thereof two members or more selected from a primary nitrogen, a secondary nitrogen, and a tertiary nitrogen or a nitrogen-containing compound having in a molecule thereof all of primary, secondary, and tertiary nitrogens. The absorbent liquid has an excellent absorption capacity performance and an excellent absorption reaction heat performance, as compared to an aqueous solution containing solely an alkanolamine and a nitrogen-containing compound in the same concentration in terms of wt %, and can recover COor HS or both from gas with smaller energy.

A reaction column () to which a raw material mixture () containing a mono-lower-alkylamine (AA: raw material I) and an alkylene oxide (AO: raw material II) is supplied, an unreacted raw material distillation column () that separates an unreacted raw material () from a reaction product () (containing the unreacted raw material (), a target reaction product (monomer) (), and a by-product (dimer) ()), and a flash drum () to which a reaction product () (containing the target reaction product (monomer) () and the by-product (dimer) ()) is supplied, the flash drum () separating a mono-lower-alkyl monoalkanolamine (monomer, the target reaction product) in a gas state, are provided.

Method and apparatus for producing mono-lower-alkyl monoalkanolamine

A COreducing system (A) is constituted by a low-temperature COreducing apparatus (-) that includes a low-temperature absorber (-) that reduces at least one of COand HS by bringing flue gas () including at least one of COand HS into contact with a low-temperature absorbing solution (-), a low-temperature regenerator (-) that regenerates a low-temperature rich solution (-), a low-temperature rich-solution supply line (-) that feeds the low-temperature rich solution (-) to the low-temperature regenerator (-), and a low-temperature lean-solution supply line (-) that feeds a low-temperature lean solution (-) to the low-temperature absorber (-) from the low-temperature regenerator (-); and a high-temperature COreducing apparatus (-) that is arranged on a side at which the flue gas () is discharged, and that has the same configuration as the low-temperature COreducing apparatus (-).

An absorbing solution according to the present invention is an absorbing solution that absorbs COor HS in gas or both of COand HS. The absorbing solution is formed by adding desirably 1 to 20 weight percent of tertiary monoamine to a secondary-amine composite absorbent such as a mixture of secondary monoamine and secondary diamine. Consequently, it is possible to control degradation in absorbing solution amine due to oxygen or the like in gas. As a result, it is possible to realize a reduction in an absorption loss, prevention of malfunction, and a reduction in cost. This absorbing solution is suitably used in an apparatus for removing COor HS or both of COand HS.

A COrecovery system includes an absorption tower and a regeneration tower. COrich solution is produced in the absorption tower by absorbing COfrom CO-containing gas. The COrich solution is conveyed to the regeneration tower where lean solution is produced from the rich solution by removing CO. A reclaimer heats the lean solution that is produced in the regeneration tower to produce a condensed waste-product from the lean solution by condensing a depleted material contained in the lean solution, and removes the condensed waste-product. A cooler cools the condensed waste-product.

A COrecovery system includes an absorption tower that receives CO-containing gas and CO-absorbing solution, and causes the CO-containing gas to come in contact with the CO-absorbing solution to produce COrich solution, and a regeneration tower that receives the rich solution and produces lean solution from the rich solution by removing COfrom the rich solution. A heating member is provided in the regeneration tower. The heating member heats the rich solution in the regeneration tower with steam generated when regenerating the rich solution in the regeneration tower.
