A method and apparatus for grouping and sharing images are disclosed. A sequence of media data entities that include at least one digital image frame is obtained. The least one digital image frame includes an optical machine-readable code that includes a contextual collection identifier and a sharing destination. The contextual collection identifier and the sharing destination from the optical machine-readable code is identified and a contextual collection is created based on the contextual collection identifier. Subsequent media data entities are added to the contextual collection, a selection of media data entities to be shared in the sharing destination are received, and the media data entities to the sharing destination are uploaded based on the selection.

An apparatus comprises a processing unit configured to: obtain image data and metadata of digital image frames captured by a capturing device, the metadata comprising initial time of capture determined in accordance with an internal clock of the capturing device, the at least one digital image frame comprising a reference digital image frame captured of a scene comprising a machine-readable time marking indicating reference time; recognize a reference instant of time on the basis of the image data of the reference digital image frame; determine a time offset between the reference instant of time and the initial time of capture of the reference digital image frame; and adjust the metadata of a digital image frame so as to include corrected time of capture.

More specifically, a method and system for configuring a telecommunication network relate to preparing a network element for operation, and giving an address to a network element, where each network element in the telecommunication network has an address of its own. The method and system are further characterized by a process in which each network element is made a subnetwork of its own, a common network-wide IP classification is selected, an IP address is created for each network element, a configuration file is created which includes at least IP address information in combination with a network element site identifier. The configuration file is stored in a control device, and the configuration file is loaded from the control device into the network element on the basis of the site identifier.
