Work vehicle axle device includes a wheel drive case utilizing a centrally disposed vertically extending first coupling portion, a centrally disposed vertically extending second coupling portion spaced from the first coupling portion and an input shaft located below an upper end of either the first or second coupling portions and being configured to transmit rotational power to wheels. The first and second coupling portions are configured to pivotally mount to the wheel drive case to a vehicle body of the work vehicle in a manner that allows the wheel drive case to pivot about an axis that, when viewed from above, is at least one of parallel to a front to back direction of the vehicle body and parallel to a centrally disposed front to back axis of the vehicle body.

The working vehicle comprises a vehicle body for supporting said cab; ground-engaging means for supporting said vehicle body; and a cab frame provided to said cab, said cab frame including right and left front posts, right and left rear posts, and right and left upper frames extending fore and aft between upper end regions of said front posts and upper end regions of said rear posts, respectively; wherein at least part of said cab is curved to bulge outward.

A tractor change speed apparatus includes a manual change speed device having a combination of gear trains mounted on first and second parallel shafts and driving a change speed output shaft at various speeds. A backward and forward drive switching device is cooperable with the main change speed device for producing forward and backward drives in an equal number of speeds, wherein the forward drive is transmitted through the first shaft and the backward drive is transmitted through the second shaft. A group of gears for returning reverse drive to a forward drive transmission shaft is thereby omitted. Consequently, the backward and forward drive switching device and the entire change speed apparatus has a reduced longitudinal length.

Change speed apparatus for a tractor

A change speed apparatus for a tractor includes a main change speed device ( ) having a combination of gear trains mounted on a first shaft and a second shaft extending parallel to each other, for driving a change speed output shaft ( ) at a plurality of speeds, and a backward and forward drive switching device ( ) cooperable with the main change speed device ( ) to produces forward drive and backward drive in an equal number of speeds. Between the main change speed device ( ) and the backward and forward drive switching device ( ), the forward drive is transmitted through the first shaft ( ) and the backward drive is transmitted through the second shaft ( ). With this construction, a group of gears for returning reversed drive to a forward drive transmission shaft is omitted from the backward and forward drive switching device ( ). Consequently, the backward and forward drive switching device has a reduced fore and aft length, and thus the entire change speed apparatus also has a reduced fore and aft length.

A transmission housing (100)used as a body frame extending longitudinally of a tractor. The transmission housing (100) includes a first housing (1) having a front end connected to an engine housing (91), and a rear end; a first partition (1a) defining a first accommodation chamber (3) in the first housing (1) with the front end of the first housing; a second partition (1b) defining, in the first housing (1), a second accommodation chamber (4) with the first partition (1a), and a third accommodation chamber (5) with the rear end of the first housing; and a second housing (2) having a front end connected to the rear end of the first housing, and a rear end, and defining a rear accommodation chamber (6) between with the front end and the rear end. A main clutch (7) is disposed in the first accommodation chamber (3). A shuttle change speed device (8) and a main change speed device (9) are arranged longitudinally in the second accommodation chamber (4). An auxiliaxy change speed device (10) is disposed in the third accommodation chamber (5). A rear differential (13) is disposed in the rear accommodation chamber (6).

Transmission for a tractor

A rear axle apparatus for a tractor having differential gear shafts driven by power transmitted from a transmission, rear axles connected to the differential gear shafts through planetary reduction mechanisms, and brakes for braking the differential gear shafts through brake disks engaged with the differential gear shafts. The apparatus includes a rear axle case connectable to a case of the transmission and having an inner peripheral surface. Each planetary reduction mechanism includes a ring gear mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the rear axle case. A brake support receives one of the brake disks. The brake support is mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the rear axle case, and arranged parallel to the ring gear substantially along the rear axles. A rotation stopper limits rotation of the brake support and the ring gear relative to the rear axle case.

Rear axle apparatus for a tractor

An automotive transmission system of the present invention comprises a transmission mechanism housed in a transmission case and operatively connected to an engine, and a hydraulically operated speed mode change mechanism and a hydraulically operated shuttle mechanism both operatively connected to the transmission mechanism. The hydraulically operated speed mode change mechanism is provided at the inlet side of the transmission mechanism. The hydraulically operated shuttle transmission mechanism is provided at the output side of the transmission mechanism and submerged in oil contained in the lower portion of the transmission case.

Automotive transmission system

A four wheel drive working vehicle comprises a first shaft for driving rear wheels, and a second shaft for driving front wheels. The first and second shafts are coaxially and relatively rotatably supported by a transmission case. The first shaft carries a first gear relatively rotatably mounted thereon, and the second shaft carries a second gear fixed thereto. A gear transmission unit is detachably bolted to the transmission case to transmit drive from the first gear to the second gear. A clutch device is mounted on the first shaft to be switchable between a position to directly interconnect the first shaft and the second gear for driving the front and rear wheels at the same speed, and a position to directly interconnect the first shaft and the first gear for driving the front wheels at a higher speed than the rear wheels.

Four wheel drive working vehicle

A transmission system for a vehicle comprising a main transmission, a bypass transmission line, an auxiliary transmission, and a rear wheel drive line. The main transmission includes a multistep change speed mechanism, a first output gear for outputting a maximum speed provided by the multistep change speed mechanism, and a second output gear for outputting other speeds provided by the multistep change speed mechanism. The bypass transmission line is operatively connected to the first output gear, and the auxiliary transmission is operatively connected to the second output gear. The rear wheel drive line is operatively connected to the bypass transmission line and to the auxiliary transmission. The first output gear, bypass transmission line and front wheel drive line constitute an overtop drive transmission line.

There is disclosed a planetary backward and forward drive apparatus comprising a planetary gear mechanism disposed between an input and an output shafts. The planetary gear mechanism includes a carrier connected to the input shaft, two step planet gears supported by the carrier and consisting of a large first gear and a small second gear, a first sun gear connected to the output shaft, and a second sun gear freely rotatably mounted on the first sun gear and meshing with the second gear. A forward drive condition is provided when the carrier and the second sun gear are connected to each other by an operation of a hydraulic clutch, and a backward drive condition is provided when the second sun gear is fixed to a stationary case by an operation of a hydraulic brake.

Planetary backward and forward drive apparatus

A transmission comprising a main change speed mechanism, an auxiliary change speed mechanism, a rear differential mechanism and a cassette type supplementary change speed mechanism. The supplementary change speed mechanism acts on the transmission through an opening defined in a transmission case housing the transmission. The supplementary change speed mechanism is housed in and supported by a supplementary change speed case which is attached to the transmission case. Transmissions of various specifications may be provided by making various types of supplementary change speed mechanism. The supplementary change speed mechanism is applicable to a propelling transmission line and/or a power takeoff transmission line.

Transmission having cassette type supplementary change speed apparatus

There is disposed a wheel tread adjusting apparatus for a vehicle having a main axle case supported by a vehicle body and slidable cases mounted in right and left ends of the main axle case, respectively, the slidable cases being slidable transversely of the vehicle toward and away from each other. A fixing plate extends between the main axle case and each of the slidable cases, and is secured to one of the two cases. The fixing plate is positionally adjustably lockable to the other of the two cases.

Wheel tread adjusting apparatus

A change-speed apparatus in a tractor equipped with an engine has a planetary gearing mechanism settable between its two positions. Actuation of the mechanism to one of the two positions is hydraulically power-actuated, while actuation to the other of the two positions is automatically effected, as the hydraulic power is released, by a resiliently urging spring. Power-transmitting operative connection is therefore always maintained between the engine and running-drive wheels even when the hydraulic actuation power comes to extinct.

A clutch comprising a drive rotary member, a driven rotary member engageable with and disengageable from the drive rotary member by being moved relative thereto in the directions of axis of rotation, an annular cam interposed between the drive rotary member and the driven rotary member, and an engaging member manually operably mounted on a case to prevent rotation of the cam. When the engaging member is operated to project toward the driven rotary member through the cam, the driven rotary member is held out of engagement with the drive rotary member reliably.
