The present invention relates to a method and radiation monitoring device () comprising at least one radiation detector (), a memory () and a controller (), wherein said radiation detector is arranged to detect at least one type of radiation dose. The memory () comprises a number of memory positions configured to store data resulting from said detector () detection. The positions are configured to store accumulated measured dose values corresponding to consecutive real time intervals. The controller is configured to continuously compute mean radiation dose values for measured and stored radiation doses during the predetermined time period and for each computation, a resulting mean value is compared with a corresponding predetermined reference value and generate a signal corresponding to result of said comparison.

Radiation meter and method

The present invention relates to an X-ray parameter measuring arrangement comprising a detector for measuring said parameter configured to be positioned in a position adjacent to an x-ray source arranged to generate a ray formation having a primary ray portion for radiating an object. The position is chosen in such a way that the interference with a reproduced image is reduced or eliminated.

Detector for detecting x-ray radiation parameters

An arrangement for detecting and initiating indication of doses of radiation includes radiation dose receiving elements and function handling elements for storing and displaying received radiations/radiation doses. The arrangement is operable by one or several power sources, and includes one or several portable meters exhibiting miniature external dimensions and having internal power sources. The respective meter is provided with radiation receiving elements and function handling elements. Each meter includes one or several preferably continuously connected first components, requiring low power, and temporarily connectable second components, requiring increased or increasing power in relation to the low power. One or several third components, handling the temporary connection and disconnection of the second component or components, is/are included. The first components are activated at low radiation intensities and the second components are connected when high radiation intensities are occurring. The third components connect and disconnect the second components at the different intensities.

Device and arrangement for sensing and displaying radiation

A unit () with a length (L) is utilized in a device for indicating the position of an edge () of a first area () which is irradiated by an x-ray radiation source () in relation to an edge () of a second area, completely or partially coinciding with the first area, which second area is illuminated by a light source. The unit is provided with a first and second parts separated by a mark (), which parts are intended to extend inside the second area and outside the second area respectively. The unit () comprises x-ray radiation-indicating elements () that assume a first indication state in the presence of x-ray radiation () and a second indication state in the absence of x-ray radiation. The position indication can be determined by means of the said mark and indication states. The invention also relates to an arrangement and a method for the said position indication. The unit can have small external dimensions, and constitutes a unit that is considerably simplified and easy to handle, while retaining a high degree of accuracy.
