A method may determine transformation parameters for a transformation of a position of a vehicle between a first coordinate system and a second coordinate system. In the method, a trajectory may be traveled with the vehicle in a step. In another step, the positions of the vehicle while traveling the trajectory may be acquired in the first coordinate system with a first position detection system, and in the second coordinate system with a second position detection system. In a further step, transformation parameters between the coordinate systems may be derived based on the positions of the vehicle acquired in the coordinate systems, and based on at least one geometric parameter of the trajectory.

Method and system for providing transformation parameters

A transmission which includes input and output shafts and first and second step-down devices for producing various step-down ratios. The first and second step-down devices are associated with first and second controllable clutches, respectively, in order to connect, in a torque-transmitting manner, the respective step-down device between the input shaft and the output shaft. A first gear of the transmission is obtained by actuating the first clutch and a second gear by actuating the second clutch. A method of controlling a gearshift, from the first gear to the second gear, includes the steps of determining operating condition parameters of the transmission; and determining optimized degrees of actuation of the clutches by a search process related to a transmission model that determines the degrees of actuation on the basis of operating condition parameters in relation to a predetermined optimization criterion. The transmission model is based on slip.

Transmission control system

A method of optimizing shifting of a shifting element which fixes a shaft to another component of the drive-train. Three shifting processes are influenced by respective characteristic forms of a control parameter. The first and second characteristic forms are different from one another. Each shifting process has a distinct start and end time (t, t). The rotational speed of the shaft is a function n(t) of time t. An idealized rotational speed n(t):=G{n(t)} is determined by a filter G. First and second evaluation indexes I:=I(t&#x2212;&#x394;,t)/I (t&#x2212;, t) are calculated, in which t&#x3c;t&#x2266;t. I(t, t) is a measure of a deviation of the rotational speed n(t) from the idealized rotational speed n(t) over time [t,t]. The third characteristic form is chosen based on the first and second evaluation indexes I.
