Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to the field of electronic data communications, and more specifically to transport methods for hierarchical data networks in relation to providing 'address-less data transport' of data packets. An order is introduced or associated with nodes to establish relationships, and the order may be stored in the form of a tree topology in a data structure. The order of nodes is thus known, and logic and/or other data sets, data payloads, etc., may be transmitted across the nodes, wherein the steps to execute the transmission are more efficient due to the properties of the ordered nodes. Each node in the plurality of nodes is comprised of a plurality of network interfaces, which through pairwise joining, forms a data network of a tree topology.

Improved systems are directed to electronic devices that operate in conjunction with a control mechanism and various sensors. A learning protocol is established to provide a technical solution whereby sensor signal from the various sensors is utilized to implement an incremental approach to using sensed information. The electronic devices can be luminaires, and the control mechanism a lighting control mechanism. The sensing, for example, can include sensory information from at least one remote sensing device and at least one local sensing device to control changes in operation of one or more connected electronic devices.

Systems and methods for automated control of electronic devices on basis of behavior

A series of interconnected (directly or indirectly), coupled lighting panels is provided, the coupled lighting panels linked to one another such that various shapes and designs can be created using various arrangements of the coupled lighting panels, the lighting panels of some embodiments adapted to avoid dark spots proximate to lighting circuitry disposed therein. The lighting panels can be luminaires, and may be provided in various geometric shapes, having various dimensionalities (e.g., a flat 2 dimensional shape, or a 3 dimensional shape). Various control systems, connectors, housings, frames, and lighting systems are also described.

Systems and methods for providing coupled lighting panels

Systems and methods for an interactive modular lighting system are described. The lighting systems enable users to dynamically build a luminaire through a modular joining of individual light-emitting units, however such that risk of electrical failure is automatically prevented through a dynamic computation of electrical circuit properties and dynamic configuration of components. Additionally, lighting systems with granular and configurable touch sensing are described, wherein a user's interaction with the lighting system can be coupled to actuation of properties of the lighting system or of properties of other devices in communication with the lighting system. Illustrative embodiments of applications of said lighting systems in smart home and gaming are provided.

Systems and methods for providing interactive modular lighting

In some embodiments, a configurable lighting device, connectors, controllers, and methods for layout detection are provided. The configurable lighting devices, suitably connected, form an assembly of configurable lighting devices that can be removably connected with one another and re-arranged. Connectors are provided that form mechanical and electrical connections between configurable lighting devices such that a flow of electricity and control signals may be propagated without the need for direct connection between every configurable lighting device and a controller. The controller or devices connected to the controller are configured to perform layout detection such that pleasing visualizations may be rendered across the assembly that are rendered using at least the detected layout. When the configuration of the configurable lighting devices changes, the layout detection is automatically updated.

Systems and methods for connecting and controlling configurable lighting units

The present invention is concerned with an LED packaging unit, a manufacturing method for the same, and an LED lamp. The LED packaging unit has a common substrate, N number of red LED chips, M number of green LED chips and X number of blue LED chips. The N number of red LED chips, the M number of green LED chips and the X number of blue LED chips are arranged and packaged on a bottom surface of a recess of the common substrate. The red LED chips, the green LED chips and the blue LED chips are all monochromatic LED chips, with N, M, and X being integers greater than 1. The distances between any adjacent two red LED chips (or green LED chips or blue LED chips) are substantially consistent.

The invention provides methods and systems of determining biopolymer profiles and correlations between structural units (residues) of a biopolymer based on sampling of the conformational space available to the molecule. The correlations between these structural units can further be used to find networks within a biopolymer such as the coupled residue networks in a protein. The invention also provides for designing and engineering biopolymers including polypeptides, nucleic acids and carbohydrates using the information derived from the conformation clustering and subsequent methods described herein.

An LED bulb comprises a structural shell formed by folding a flat PCB into a three-dimensional polyhedron shape and a fitting for removably coupling the bulb to a light socket. The PCB comprises a plurality of LEDs, at least one LED mounted electronically on a plurality of faces of the polyhedron, and a driver circuit for driving each LED. The perimeter of the PCB is shaped to join adjacent faces. Each LED produces minimal excess heat, which is partially conducted by a metallic heat sink bridge to the PCB and dissipated to the air through the PCB and through a plurality of spaces in the shell.

The light intensity level of a dimmable LED bulb is set by interruption of the AC signal by the user. The bulb's driver circuit includes a controller having dimmer control logic for controlling the brightness. Optionally, the LED bulb can be dimmed by an external TRIAC dimmer.
