A handheld power tool with a rotatable tool, in which the handheld power tool is a saw blade or milling cutter. The handheld power tool includes a sensor device for detecting a mechanical vector quantity. The mechanical vector quantity includes a force, an acceleration, a velocity, a deflection, a deformation and/or a mechanical stress and the mechanical vector quantity depends on a force emanating from the handheld tool. The handheld power tool also includes a control device which is communicatively coupled to the sensor device and is adapted to recognize an event and/or a state of the power tool according to a direction and/or change of direction of the mechanical vector quantity detected by the sensor device.

Power tool and method

A face protector for protecting a worker's eyes and face comprises an auto-darkening filter unit which in turn comprises a filter pane or ADF pane and an electronics unit driving the ADF pane, the electronics unit being configured to switch the ADF pane automatically from a transparent state to a darkened state. A hard shell unit comprises a shell carrying an ADF unit with the ADF and being shaped to protect a wearer's face, the shell being manufactured of a plastic material. A soft shell unit comprises a cap for protecting the crown of the wearer's head and a neck protector for protecting the wearer's neck, the soft shell unit being made of a combination of flexible fabric with support elements.

The mounting device includes a mounting frame () on which there is set a front cladding (). Through the front cladding () there pass securing means () anchored to a cross piece () of the mounting frame (), for securing a sanitary element (). The front cladding () comprises at least an upper part () and a lower part () which are plate-shaped. Between the two parts () there is a gap () in which there is arranged a securing rail () through which the said securing means () pass. The two parts () can be aligned on the securing rail () during mounting.
