The invention relates to a dosing pump unit for mixing a liquid reducing agent with an exhaust gas flow by means of a dosing pump which is connected, on the input side thereof, to a connection connectable to a reducing agent tank and, on the output side thereof, to a pressure pipe and a pipe for returning flow back to said reducing agent tank, wherein a non-return valve which is prestressed against a hydraulic pressure produced by the dosing pump is arranged in the pressure line, the return pipe is connected to the pressure pipe upstream of the non-return valve in the reducing agent flow direction and a first stop valve for selectively closing the return pipe is placed therein.

Dosing pump unit

The invention relates to a metering pump for admixing a fluid reduction agent into an exhaust gas flow, which comprises a premixing device in which the supplied reduction agent is mixed in a mixing region with a pressurized gas, wherein a first return valve is arranged in the premixing element in a supply conduit for the reduction agent, in front of the mixing region in the flow direction.

Metering pump assembly

The present invention provides a mixing device () for mixing urea with a gas, said urea being preferably dissolved in a fluid preferably water and said gas being preferably air. The mixing device comprises preferably a urea inlet () and a gas inlet () for feeding respectively urea and the gas into a mixing chamber () of the mixing device (), and an outlet () for outlet of the mix of urea and gas from the mixing chamber (), these inlets () and outlet () may preferably have a stream wise extension and runs preferably into the mixing chamber () and the outlet () originates preferably from the mixing chamber (). Preferably, at least the gas inlet () for feeding air into the mixing chamber is designed so that depositing of urea crystals on selected surfaces of the said inlet is substantially (typically in the sense that deposited crystals does not clog the inlet) or totally avoided.

The invention relates to a metering pump assembly for admixing a fluid reduction agent into an exhaust gas flow with a metering pump for delivering the reduction agent and with a premixing device, in which in a mixing region, the reduction agent delivered by the metering pump is mixed with a pressurized gas, wherein the metering pump assembly comprises a pump head with a central plate in which at least the metering pump and the premixing device are arranged.
