A wireless, display-less, keypad-less communication device for placing a call to and receiving a call from a contact of a select number of contacts includes a housing; a call actuation mechanism situated on the housing; a memory storing a predetermined number of contacts; and a controller configured to initiate an outgoing call to one of the predetermined number of contacts upon actuation of the call actuation mechanism. The controller is further configured to limit outgoing calls to the predetermined number of contacts.

Wireless communication device and method of use

A method of assigning contact phone numbers of a select number of contact phone numbers in a wireless, display-less, keypad-less communication device includes accessing a website on a global computer network to assign contact phone numbers to respective lights and call buttons for the contacts; receiving a prompt to enter data identifying the device; inputting data identifying the device; receiving a prompt to enter a phone number for each contact in a data field for the respective light and call button; entering a phone number for each contact in the data field for the respective light and call button; and transmitting the entered data to the device so that the contact phone numbers are assigned to the respective call buttons and the respective lights.

A wireless communication device for geographically locating a second wireless communication device includes a housing; a push-to-locate activation mechanism configured to detect selection of a target number corresponding to the second wireless communication device and send a push-to-locate request for the target number to a carrier network to obtain a geographical location of the second wireless communication device using a location-based service; and a display configured to present a geographical location of the second wireless communication device received in response to the push-to-locate request.
