Handrail mounts are provided in a bottom portion of a cast upper frame, and lower ends of side supports of a handrail are attached to the above handrail mounts. A base plate for attaching a floor plate is hanged and fixed between the side supports at a higher position than the attachment position, and a front end part of the floor plate is attached to the above base plate.

A construction machine according to the present invention comprises a maintenance opening portion formed extending over a front shielding plate of a seat stand adjacent to a control stand and a side shielding plate of the control stand, or a maintenance opening portion formed extending over the front shielding plate and an upper shielding plate connected to an upper part of the front shielding plate. Further, the construction machine comprises a maintenance cover for dosing the opening portion. According to such a structure, workability of the maintenance work of the construction machine can be improved.

An upper end of a link is attached to a roller shaft of an upper guide roller provided in an upper part of a front window for opening and closing a front opening of a cabin. A lower end of the link is provided with a wire retaining pin that moves in a wire guide rail. One end of an assist wire connected to a spring at the other end is connected to the wire retaining pin. Thus, in a window-closed state, tension acts on the front window as a pressing force for pressing the front window forward, and when the front window is to be opened, the tension acts through the link on the front window as an assisting force.

A construction machine according to the present invention comprises a maintenance opening portion formed extending over a front shielding plate of a seat stand adjacent to a control stand and a side shielding plate of the control stand, or a maintenance opening portion formed extending over the front shielding plate and an upper shielding plate connected to an upper part of the front shielding plate. Further, the construction machine comprises a maintenance cover for closing the opening portion. According to such a structure, workability of the maintenance work of the construction machine can be improved.

A construction machine including a maneuvering seat on which an operator sits, a guard cover for supporting the maneuvering seat thereon, and a control box arranged on one side of the maneuvering seat. The control box having a control valve and an operating lever for operating the control valve. The control box turning about a turning fulcrum so as to facilitate getting on and off when an operator gets on and off from the maneuvering seat. The construction machine further including hydraulic hoses which hang from the control valve and are pulled out of the control box. The hydraulic hoses having bent portions externally of the control box, the bent portions being displaced when the control box turns to absorb the up and down movement of the hydraulic hoses. Accordingly, the up and down movement of the hydraulic hoses caused when the control box is forced up is absorbed by bent portions provided externally of the control box.

In an air conditioner for conditioning the air present within a cabin, a cooler unit and a condenser for liquefying a gaseous refrigerant by forced cooling are arranged integrally on the upper surface of the cabin ceiling. The outer periphery of the cooler unit and that of the condenser are covered with a cover. Further, for the discharge of drain from the cooler unit, drain pipes are disposed on both front and rear sides of the cabin. The space in the narrow cabin can be fully utilized effectively.
