An air passage switching device includes a film member for opening and closing an opening portion of an air passage, and the film member has a first end portion fixed to a peripheral portion of the opening portion and a second end portion fixed to a winding shaft. The winding shaft is capable of moving in a first direction separated from the first end portion of the film member and in a second direction approaching the first end portion of the first member while rotating. In the air passage switching device, an actuator for operating the winding shaft is disposed in an interior of the winding shaft and is fixed by a fixing member, the winding shaft is disposed rotatably relative to the fixing member, and the fixing member is moved in the first direction or the second direction together with the winding shaft by a guide unit.

Air passage switching device

An actuator control device includes an electrical control unit for detecting the present positions of output shafts of servo motors, and communicating with control circuits for driving the output shafts of the servo motors to target stop positions on the basis of the present positions thus detected. When it is judged that a present position of one of the output shafts thus receives is abnormal, the electrical control unit corrects the present position and transmits the corrected present position to the appropriate control circuit.

Actuator control unit

An actuator, operated by being supplied with electric power, needs an initial setting for performing a desired operation by recognizing its starting position. The initial setting is conducted when an abnormality occurs in a signal which represents an operation of the actuator. The initial setting is also conducted when a system for the actuator recognizes a fact that a battery is electrically disconnected in association with information denoting a condition of the battery in a memory.

Electrically-operated actuator system

The detection of a pulse signal in an initialization pattern is ensured regardless of the position where a DC motor is stopped. A CPU detects the pulse signal generated by the pulse generator and an angle of rotation of a rotating shaft, and controls an angle of rotation of a rotating shaft based on the detected angle of rotation. The pulse generator generates the pulse signal in the initialization pattern, which indicates the position of origin of the angle of rotation, in accordance with the rotation of the DC motor. If a determination means determines that it is impossible to detect the pulse signal in the initialization pattern when the DC motor is rotated in a first direction, the CPU rotates the DC motor in a second direction.

Electric actuator system

In determining a starting point of a motor of an electric actuator during its initialization procedure, when a rotation angle sensor detects pulse signals in a certain initialization pattern, power supply to the motor is stopped by the control of a motor drive circuit. This electrical control of motor rotation enables the initialization procedure of the actuator to be carried out without using mechanical restriction means for locking purposes, and the influence of variations in the deflection amount of any stoppers is eliminated. The precision in determining the starting point in the initialization procedure is thus improved.

A motor stopping circuit is activated when a motor control circuit is stopped by a reset signal outputted from a reset circuit. This maintains an overrun angle small. As a result, a difference between a rotation angles measured when the motor control circuit is turned off and measured when the motor control circuit is turned on are small. Therefore, frequent origin setting operation is not required. This reduces sizes and manufacturing costs of a stopper and an actuator.

There are provided an air mixing door, a plurality of outlets for blowing air into respective portions in a vehicle compartment, outlet mode doors for switching a outlet mode by closing and opening the plurality of outlets, and one motor actuator for driving the air mixing door and the outlet mode doors. The outlet mode doors and the air-mixing door are alternately driven through a change of an operation angle of the motor actuator.

Air conditioner for vehicle and air conditioning unit driving apparatus

A single position-detecting means for detecting rotation positions of electric motors is provided. Positions of a plurality of driven members are detected (estimated) based on the detection results. When a request of simultaneously operating the plurality of driven members is made, by sequentially operating the plurality of driven members one by one, the rotation positions of the plurality of electric motors can be detected by the single position-detecting means.

Air conditioner for vehicle

A differential mechanism is provided between first output shaft, to which the rotation of the drive motor is transmitted, and second output shaft, to which the rotation of first output shaft is transmitted, for adjusting the relative positions of these two output shafts. An air-mix door is connected to first output shaft, and a blowout mode door is connected to second output shaft. The rotation of the drive motor is used to operate the air-mix door and the blowout mode door in linkage, and the blowout mode door is designed to be able to be independently operated by the operation of movable lever of differential gear mechanism.

Vehicular air-conditioning apparatus

An electric power unit is composed of a secondary battery, a cooling fan, a fan motor and a case for the secondary battery, the cooling fan and the fan motor. The case has a partition for isolating the fan motor from the secondary battery and cooling fan. A magnetic joint is disposed between the motor and the cooling fan.
