Provided is a visible light-transmissive and infrared-reflective substrate, including: a visible light-transmissive substrate layer disposed so as to serve as a partition between inside and outside of a room; and an infrared-reflective layer laminated on a surface on the room side of the visible light-transmissive substrate layer, wherein the visible light-transmissive substrate layer has a solar absorbance of at least 30%, the infrared-reflective layer includes a reflective layer configured to reflect infrared rays and a protective layer laminated on a surface on the room side of the reflective layer, and normal emissivity of a surface on the protective layer side of the infrared-reflective layer is not more than 0.50.

The present invention provides an adhesive unit for emblem, which includes: a plurality of double-faced adhesive pieces each having a shape corresponding to a shape of a respective one of a plurality of emblem pieces; a first release film attached to a face of each of the plurality of double-faced adhesive pieces to be adhered to an emblem, so that a mutual positional relationship of the plurality of double-faced adhesive pieces is maintained; and a second release film attached to the other face of each of the plurality of double-faced adhesive pieces opposite to the face to be adhered to the emblem. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape roll includes a bobbin and, helically wound therearound, a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. The tape includes a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive body including a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing bubbles and/or hollow microspheres, and arranged on both sides thereof, a release liner A wider than the adhesive body, and an olefinic release liner B. In portions occupying 70% or more of the total length of the tape, a crosswise extending-off portion of the release liner A of an (n)th-turn portion of the adhesive tape vertically overlaps the adhesive body of an adjacent (n+1)th-turn portion of the adhesive tape to form an overlapping portion; the width of the overlapping portion is one half or more of the width of the adhesive body; and the adhesive body of the (n)th-turn adhesive tape is not present below the adhesive body of the adjacent (n+1)th-turn adhesive tape.

Disclosed is a method for joining two strips, where the two strips each include a laminate of a release liner and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the release liner extends from the corresponding pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in a longitudinal end region of at least one of the two strips. The method includes butting cross-sections of longitudinal ends of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers of the two strips to bond the two pressure-sensitive adhesive layers; and superposing end regions of the release liners of the two strips and fixing the release liners so that surfaces of the release liners in portions at least 1 mm long inward from the longitudinal ends are not in contact with surfaces of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers. This method gives a continuous strip from which the release liner can be smoothly removed without 'binding' even at the joint.
