Provided is a sensitizing detection agent of an oral or intravenous administration type which enables the detection of bladder cancer with a higher sensitivity without causing pain to the patient. A method for improving plant salt-tolerance is described, which comprises treating a plant with an active ingredient comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 5-aminolevulinic acid, a derivative of 5-aminolevulinic acid, a salt of 5-aminolevulinic acid, a salt of derivatives of 5-aminolevulinic acid, and hemins.
