An autonomous floor cleaning system includes an autonomous floor cleaner with a docking station. The docking station is configured to performing maintenance for the autonomous floor cleaner, such as refilling the autonomous floor cleaner, emptying the autonomous floor cleaner, washing mopping pads, and/or recharging the autonomous floor cleaner. The docking system can supply heated cleaning fluid to the autonomous floor cleaner. Methods for servicing or performing maintenance on an autonomous floor cleaner by a docking station are disclosed.

A docking station for an autonomous floor cleaner performs maintenance on the autonomous floor cleaner, including removing a mopping implement from the autonomous floor cleaner and/or installing a mopping implement on the autonomous floor cleaner. The docking station can further perform other maintenance services on the autonomous floor cleaner. An autonomous floor cleaning system including an autonomous floor cleaner and a docking station is also disclosed. Methods for servicing or performing maintenance on an autonomous floor cleaner by a docking station are also disclosed.

Display of a wet cleaning routine of an autonomous floor cleaning robot is provided. Estimated wetness of areas of the floor can be tracked and displayed to the user so they can avoid walking on those areas of the floor until sufficiently dried. The areas of the map that that are still wet from cleaning can be displayed and transition to a different type of indicia over time as the floor dries. The wet floor status can be tracked with a timer by comparing elapsed time since the autonomous floor cleaner traversed the subject region and dispensed cleaning solution with an estimated drying time for cleaning solution on the floor. The estimated drying time can be based upon the flow rate of the autonomous floor cleaner.

An autonomous floor cleaner can include a brush chamber, a brushroll rotatably mounted in the brush chamber, a controller adapted to control the operation of the autonomous floor cleaner, and a fluid delivery system with a supply tank and at least one fluid distributor configured to deposit cleaning fluid onto a surface to be cleaned.

An autonomous floor cleaner or floor cleaning robot can include an autonomously moveable housing and a drive system for autonomously moving the autonomously moveable housing over a surface to be cleaned based on inputs from a controller. A brush chamber and a debris receptacle can be formed as a unitary assembly removable from the autonomously moveable housing.
