An agricultural implement for applying an active ingredient to a geographic area includes a chassis, and at least one active ingredient tank. Each active ingredient tank is removably positioned on and carried by the chassis. Each active ingredient tank contains an active ingredient therein which is to be applied to the geographic area. Each active ingredient tank has an identification (ID) tag representing data associated with the active ingredient. An electrical reader carried by the chassis is configured for reading the ID tag and providing an output signal. An electrical processing circuit is coupled with the reader and receives the output signal.

Method of applying an active ingredient to a geographic area using an agricultural implement

A reamer device that uses polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutting elements mounted to the reamer blades. The device includes a body that defines a cutting face, a gage region and an extended end, and includes multiple blades disposed along the gage region of the body. Each of the multiple blades multiple planar surfaces, and a plurality of cutting elements positioned along the length of each of the multiple blades. The cutting elements disposed along second and third planar surfaces of each blade being slightly offset from the other blades such that in application the rotating multiple blades cause an upwardly spiraling effect.

An agricultural implement arrangement includes a container of seed having an ID tag associated therewith; an implement for applying a product to a geographic area; an electrical reader configured for reading the ID tag and providing an output signal; and an electrical processing circuit coupled with the reader and the implement. The ID tag has data representing at least one attribute associated with the seed. The electrical processing circuit receives the output signal and controls the implement, dependent upon the output signal.

A percussion hammer bit retention system including a retainer having at least three (3) tabs, a hammer bit having first and second elevated surfaces that each define pathways and slot openings for rotational receipt of the tabs, and a custom chuck further including slot openings for receipt of the tabs. The application of tabs in combination with the elevated surfaces and indexed slot openings distinguish the present invention over the prior art. In application, in order to fully separate the retainer from the assembly, the tabs are indexed in a manner that only allows them to pass through the aligned slot openings on the first elevated surface in one (1) position every 360 degrees, and then through the aligned slot openings on the second elevated surface in one (1) position every 360 degrees, and then through the indexed slots on the custom chuck in one (1) position every 360 degrees.

A hook device for coupling with a universal pole such as a utility pole or hot stick performs a plurality of functions including at least physically engaging a component of a utility device. The hook device has a base having an axis with a pole attachment for coupling with the universal pole. An arm extends from the base along the axis of the base at the arm's upper portion and bends at an elbow at a right angle extending in a forearm, which, together with the axis of the base define a first plane. A hook portion is connected to the forearm and has a geometry in a second plane at the first angle from the axis of the forearm. An end portion is connected to the hook portion and has the same axis as the forearm. A finger is angled from the axis of the forearm at the third angle and angled from the axis of the base at the second angle.

Pole-mounted hook device for electric utility applications

An electrical distribution assembly includes a distribution block having a first electrical connector. A distribution member includes a second electrical connector, with the second electrical connector mating with the first electrical connector. A retainer clip is separate from each of the distribution block and the distribution member. The retainer clip mechanically couples with and prevents electrical decoupling of the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector.

An animal confinement/training system controls the behavior of the animal through electrical stimulation to the skin of the animal. A stationary first transmitter transmits an air-borne first encoded signal. A portable second transmitter transmits an air-borne second encoded signal. A receiver includes a receiver circuit coupled with a pair of electrodes. The receiver circuit is responsive to either of the first encoded signal or the second encoded signal for applying electrical stimulation to the skin of the animal with the pair of electrodes. The receiver further includes a temporary disabling device for temporarily disabling the responsiveness of the receiver circuit to the first encoded signal. The receiver circuit may also be responsive to another encoded signal from the second transmitter for actuating an illuminating light and/or audible alarm without applying electrical stimulation to the skin of the animal.
