Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to providing an artificial reality environment with augments and surfaces. An 'augment' is a virtual container in 3D space that can include presentation data, context, and logic. An artificial reality system can use augments as the fundamental building block for displaying 2D and 3D models in the artificial reality environment. For example, augments can represent people, places, and things in an artificial reality environment and can respond to a context such as a current display mode, time of day, a type of surface the augment is on, a relationship to other augments, etc. Augments can be on a “surface” that has a layout and properties that cause augments on that surface to display in different ways. Augments and other objects (real or virtual) can also interact, where these interactions can be controlled by rules for the objects evaluated based on information from the shell.

Artificial realty augments and surfaces

A method for patching or sealing leaks in fluid systems and, in an exemplary application, to a method of patching or sealing leaks in sub-sea hydraulic control lines, leaks in sub-surface or sub-sea safety valves, O-ring leaks of any type, leaks in hydraulic line fittings, tubing thread connection leaks, casing thread connection leaks, glycol hydraulic system leaks, well-head and sub-sea well-head leaks, hanger leaks, and leaks in other types of related down-hole equipment. A pressure- or shear-fibrillatable substance, such as an aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion, a fluoropolymer fine powder, or any other fluoropolymer which is derived from a dispersion polymerization process, is added to a fluid system such as a hydraulic control line, and pressure is then applied to the system. In one embodiment, an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene ('PTFE') particles having a particle size between 0.01 and 10 microns is used. Under the applied pressure and, in one embodiment, under cycling of the pressure, the fluororpolymer particles in the dispersion are forced through the leak site with resulting shear force, causing fibrillation of the individual fluororpolymer particles with resulting intertwining and coalescing of the individual fluororpolymer fibrils at the leak site, wherein the fluororpolymer fibrils form a dense, intertwined and coalesced matrix, impacting and embedding the fibrils within the leak site to effectively seal the leak.

Method for patching or sealing leaks in fluid systems

A system of patching single and multiple casing leaks that occur in an injection well annulus, where there is direct communication from an outermost casing string to an original open-hole wellbore and adjacent earth strata. Preferred in this pumping system is a four-stage pump process employing four separate types of fluids. The first Injection Stage utilizes either H.sub.2 SiO.sub.3, Na.sub.2 in a solution of water forming Na.sub.2 SiO.sub.3 +H.sub.2 O (Sodium Metasilicate) or Na.sub.2 O*SiO.sub.2 (Sodium Silicate) in water. The second Injection Stage utilizes CaCl.sub.2 solution in water. These two solutions react in a double replacement chemical reaction to yield an aqueous phase and a solid phase. The third Injection Stage is then implemented, the same including a bentonite/high-density, high-solids, concentrated slurry additionally containing large plugging materials suspended therein. The Fourth Stage utilizes covalently bonded N.sub.2 in a gaseous state. After injection of the first Three Stages, N.sub.2 pressure is applied and the staged patching materials are moved into place at the casing hole(s), thread leak, packer leak, or perforation. Upon restriction, the materials react by the resulting combination and shear, at which point a filtration process begins. Filtration continues until the contents of all of the stages have completed their plating action and a tight impermeable seal is in place at the problem area.

Patching of injection and production well annular casing leaks for

A system designed to patch single and multiple casing leaks that occur in an injection well annulus where there is direct communication from the outermost casing string to the original open-hole wellbore and the adjacent earth strata. This system utilizes a four-stage process which consists of four separate types of fluids. The first injection stage is a CaCl.sub.2 solution in water. The second injection stage utilizes H.sub.2 SiO.sub.3, Na.sub.2 in a solution of water to create sodium metasilicate Na.sub.2 SiO.sub.3 in water. These two react in a double replacement chemical reaction to yield an aqueous phase and a solid phase. The third injection stage is then implemented, the same including a bentonite/attapulgite/diatomaceous earth slurry with large plugging materials suspended therein. The fourth stage utilizes covalently bonded N.sub.2 in a gaseous state. After injection of the first three stages N.sub.2 pressure is applied and the staged patching material migrates to the casing hole(s), thread leak, packer leak, or perforation. Upon restriction, the materials then combine and a filtration process beings. Filtration continues until the contents of the third stage have completed their plating action and a tight impermeable seal is in place at the problem area.
