An overhead console button carrier has a unitary body. That unitary body includes a first light collimator, a second light collimator, a first intrusion sensor bracket, a second intrusion sensor bracket, a third intrusion sensor bracket and a plurality of button guides. A method and mold assembly for making the overhead console button carrier is also provided.

An exemplary lamp assembly includes a lens, a base, and a textured surface between an outwardly facing surface of the lens and an outwardly facing surface of the base. An exemplary lamp molding method includes injecting a first material into a mold cavity to form a lens, and injecting a second material against a textured surface of the lens within the mold cavity to form a base.

A position indicator is configured to move in concert with a gear shifter lever. One or more light sources is disposed below the member and directed towards a photoluminescent structure. The photoluminescent structure is configured to luminesce in response to excitation by the light source to illuminate the indicia.

A dome light assembly for a vehicle is provided herein. The dome light assembly includes a headliner having a trough and a light-producing assembly arranged as a strip configured to be received in the trough. The light-producing assembly includes a plurality of light sources and a photoluminescent structure configured to luminesce in response to excitation by the plurality of light sources.

A vehicle headliner attachment system for mounting a headliner to a non-magnetic roof structure includes a headliner with an interior and an exterior surface, a magnet affixed to the exterior surface of the headliner, and a ferromagnetic clip mounted to the non-magnetic roof structure. The fastener has a domed head that terminates at a shoulder and includes a plurality of legs separated by a gap and configured to resiliently deflect inward. The domed head is configured to provide for location of the trim component relative to the body panel during installation, and the shoulder is configured to engage the aperture upon installation.

A vehicle headliner attachment system for mounting a headliner to a non-magnetic roof structure includes a headliner having an interior and an exterior surface, a ferromagnetic plate attached to the exterior surface of the headliner, and a magnetic clip assembly affixed to the non-magnetic roof structure. The ferromagnetic plate and magnetic clip assembly enable magnetic attachment of the headliner to the non-magnetic roof structure.

A sun visor assembly includes a sun visor in which the corners associated with one of the longer edges are rotatably mounted to an automotive vehicle, one corner of which is fixed and the other corner being removable from a mount affixed to the vehicle. The removable corner has a cutout with a cylindrical pin coupled to the cutout at both ends of the pin. The mount has an arcuate cradle to engage the pin over less than half of its circumference. The opening to gain access to the cradle faces generally downward when installed and the pin is held in the mount by magnetic attraction.
