A system for detecting three-dimensional (3D) part drag includes an infrared image capture device to capture a plurality of thermal images of a 3D part build region of a 3D printing device on which a part is built, and an image analysis module to detect drag of the part based on a difference image produced by subtracting a first thermal image from a second thermal image.

In one example, a fusing system for an additive manufacturing machine includes a fusing lamp to heat build material in the work area, a heat sensor to measure a heat output of the fusing lamp, and a controller operatively connected to the fusing lamp and to the heat sensor to adjust the heat output of the fusing lamp to the work area based on a heat output measured by the heat sensor.

In an example, an apparatus is described that includes a non-resistive heat source, a thermally conductive face, and a temperature detector. The thermally conductive face has a controlled long-wave infrared emissivity and is in thermal contact with the non-resistive heat source. The temperature detector is positioned to detect a temperature of the thermally conductive face.

An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a controller to adjust print speed intra-page according to a response curve to substantially track a power curve of a power supply. The controller is to maximize print speed based on short-term energy data corresponding to present and future print data and long-term energy data corresponding to past print data, without exceeding a peak power output and a thermal limit of the power supply when printing according to the response curve.
