A method of conducting a plurality of downhole operations with a completion system, the method including performing a treatment through a port in a first sleeve assembly in a first stage of the completion system, using an object to slide a first sleeve in a second sleeve assembly, located uphole of the first sleeve assembly, in a second stage of the completion system to reveal a port, and then closing the port in the first sleeve assembly in the first stage using the object, performing a treatment through the port in the second sleeve assembly, closing the port in the second sleeve assembly, and opening at least one of the ports in the first sleeve assembly and the second sleeve assembly and producing fluids through the at least one of the ports. A completion system includes the sleeve assemblies and object for performing the method.

A multi position single direction sleeve valve includes a housing having a port therein, and a sleeve movable within the housing, the sleeve having a first portion including a radially extending opening therein and a second portion, the second portion being releasably attached to the first portion. A fracture system, including multi position single direction sleeve valve, and a bottom hole assembly having a profile engagable with the sleeve to shift a position of the sleeve relative to the housing, the bottom hole assembly having a debris barrier. A method including running the multi position single direction sleeve, including moving the sleeve from a closed position to an open position, and moving the sleeve from the open position to a closed position.

A tracer-embedded degradable article includes: a degradable metallic carrier; and a tracer disposed in the degradable metallic carrier, wherein the tracer includes an upconverting particle that has a host material, and a dopant. The article is manufactured by forming a mixture containing the metallic carrier and the tracer; and molding or casting the mixture. The degradation of the article is monitored by disposing the article downhole; degrading the article; releasing the tracer from the article to a wellbore fluid; and analyzing the wellbore fluid to determine an amount of the tracer in the wellbore fluid.

An insert safety valve includes a valve body having a valve member, and a control fluid conduit fluidically connected to the valve body. The insert safety valve being responsive to a control fluid at a first pressure to shift the valve member and open the valve body to a fluid flow and at a second pressure to add the control fluid to the fluid flow.

An operating system for a barrier valve or safety valve is responsive to increments in annulus or tubing pressure. An indexing device controls valves that selectively direct pressure applied to one side of an operating piston or the other for attaining the open and closed positions of the barrier valve. One such indexing device can be a j-slot. Other devices that operate a pair of hydraulic valves in tandem for pressure direction to one side of an actuation piston or another are contemplated. The system needs no electric power and there are no control lines needed to run below the production packer in the case of using annulus pressure to actuate the piston or at all if access to tubing pressure is provided from the vicinity of the barrier valve components.

The structure engaging member is configured to engage and shift a structure within a tubular. A puncture device is supported by the body. A wellhead assembly has a tubular wellhead body with a wellhead axial bore and a wellhead radial bore. A hanger has a hanger axial bore and a hanger radial port. A tube moving mechanism moves a tube in the wellhead radial bore between a retracted position, an intermediate position and an extended position. The tube has an inner end that is recessed in the wellhead radial bore while in the retracted position, that protrudes a first distance into the wellhead axial bore while in the intermediate position, and which protrudes a second distance into engagement with the hanger radial port while in the extended position. A landing shoulder on the hanger above the radial port lands on an inner portion of the tube while the tube is in the intermediate position.

An insert safety valve system includes a valve body including a valve member. The valve body includes a central passage and a flow path arranged radially outwardly of the central passage. A release sub is coupled to the valve body. The release sub is configured and disposed to support a downhole tool. A connector member selectively couples the release sub and the valve body.
