A system and method to identify and track one or more targets of interest. The system may include a plurality of collection systems to capture information related to visual identifiers and/or electronic signatures associated with targets in selected locations. The system may further include an intelligence system to determine a target of interest based on the information related to visual identifiers and/or electronic signatures and to track the target of interest.

A system and method for monitoring, via collection systems mounted on vehicles, for one or more electronic signals associated with one or more selected locations. In an embodiment, the system may include a plurality of collection systems. The system may include one or more tags; a license plate reader configured to read license plates; and a tag reader configured to, in response to a license plate read by the license plate reader, read the tag and determine whether the read license plate belongs to an authorized or unauthorized vehicle.

Surveillance systems and methods for collecting electronic signatures and visual identifiers of targets to help create identifications or records of targets associated with one or more particular electronic signatures. The surveillance systems and methods can include an event analysis system and methodologies to facilitate classification and association of the collected visual identifiers of the targets with the collected electronic signatures of such targets, and can generate alarms or 'hits' indicating presence of a known target across subsets of locations and times of occurrence of such hits or alarms for enhancing tracking and movement of targets throughout selected geographic areas or locations.
