Police officers use conducted electrical weapons ('CEWs') and cameras. A camera and a CEW may cooperate to improve the performance and use of the CEW and evidence collection by the camera. A camera and a CEW may also cooperate to improve the safety of the user and the target. Improvements may include improving targeting of the CEW, identifying and classifying body parts of the target as suitable or unsuitable for electrode deployment, adjusting electrode trajectory prior to launch, and automating electrode launch. Evidence collection may be improved by recording placement of electrodes on the target. Safety of the target may be improved by monitoring the movements of the target and altering characteristics of the delivered stimulus signal if potential harm to the target may occur.

Systems and methods for cooperation between cameras and conducted electrical weapons

A system for determining a person's field of view with respect to captured data (e.g., recorded audiovisual data). A multi-camera capture system (e.g. bodycam, vehicular camera, stereoscopic, 360-degree captures system) records audiovisual data of an event. The field of capture of a capture system or a field of capture of captured data combined from multiple capture systems may be greater than the field of view of a person. Facial features (e.g. eyes, ears, nose, and jawlines) of the person may be detected from the captured data. Facial features may be used to determine the field of view of the person with respect to the captured data. Sensors that detect head orientation may be used to determine the field of view of the person with respect to captured data. The field of view of the person may be shown with respect to the captured data when the captured data is played back.

A method and electronic information handling system provide recording a first image of a scene at a first exposure level using a three-dimensional (3D) camera, correlating distances from the 3D camera and exposure levels over a plurality of image elements of the first image, selecting an exposure parameter value for at least one of the plurality of image elements having a z-distance value falling within a range of z-distance values, recording a second image of the scene according to the exposure parameter value, and constructing a composite image based on at least a portion of the second image for the at least one of the plurality of image elements.

Combination lock

A customizable combination locking system using textual combinations. The principle object of the present invention is to provide a method to create a lock that is capable of being set in any desired set of letters that spells words that are easy for the user to remember. These words are supplied as a list and the tumbler positions are created from that list. The resultant lock would be commercially viable, as it will use existing, standard lock mechanisms comprised of tumbler rings with ten positions (0-9) and two, three, or four tumblers. The letters that appear in each of the ten positions have been selected through the described process. Having been selected, each lock is capable of being set to one of several thousand actual word combinations.

In response to input received from an operator, a workstation fully performs programmed instructions to carry out operator requests represented by the input. In addition, the workstation also records profile information derived from data representing operator choices and sends that profile information to a server along a communications path such as a telephonic link to a publicly-accessible network. The server analyzes the profile information, generates display information in response to the profile information, and returns display information along the communications path to the workstation. In turn, the workstation presents the display information to the operator. In this manner, information customized according to profiles can be delivered to people and organizations most likely to be interested in the information content.
