A scrubber or other attachment is removably coupled to a mop, preferably using a coupling on the mop holder, and preferably in a manner that does not interfere with the mop coupling and the handle coupling. The attachment can advantageously include a flexible joint.

A DuraLock scrubber and scraper attachments with replaceable surface scrubbing and scraping capability, that includes providing a removable/replaceable surface scrubbing and scraping attachments, and attaching the elements to the mop head holder for scrubbing and scraping the floor surface. This provides a mop handle with surface scrubbing and scraping capability and includes an attachment for rigid connection to a mop handle, which is adapted to carry replaceable surface cleaning element(s). The replaceable elements can be a scraper, scrubbing pad or bristles or other abrasive materials that can be interchanged or replaced depending upon the job or as the components wear without requiring removal of the mop head and further allows the replacement of the mop head without requiring removal and reinstallation of the elements.

There is a need to reduce raw materials used in the manufacturing of wet mops, to reduce the weight of the wet mop which will decrease user fatigue and related injuries and to address the difficulty of attaching standard wet mops to commonly used mop handles. The improvement is a tubular headband wet mop with yarn strands on only one side of the headband, reducing the amount of unused yarn incorporated into the wet mop while not reducing floor surface coverage area. The tubular headband also eliminates the possibility of exposing the bottom side of the mop handle which can damage or mar the floor surface, coatings and finishes. This reduction in raw materials results in a lighter product, which reduces effort required to lift and wring out the wet mop, and reduces fatigue and injuries associated with mopping.

A method of providing a mop with surface scrubbing capability, that includes providing a surface scrubbing attachment device, and attaching the device to the mop for scrubbing presentation to the surface.

An insert has an upper and lower portions used in conjunction with a variety of sizes of a wash buckets and a wringer to eliminate the contamination of clean wash solution with dirty solution during the moping process. The insert allows for a separation of liquids while limiting the volume that is lost in the wash bucket with the use of an insert. A wringer attaches to the insert and when used to wring out a mop the insert collects all the dirty solution that is extracted from the mop. The insert allows for the maximum clean wash solution volume and dirty solution volume while also increasing the height of the wringer when used in conjunction with the insert and wash bucket.

An aqueous solution for treating and maintaining floors, cleans the floor and restores an optimum coefficient of friction. The solution involves a restoring phase and a cleaning phase, in which the cleaning phase is performed using the same solution as in the restoring phase, but in a diluted form. The solution is applicable to cleaning solid hard floors such as those made of unglazed quarry tiles, glazed ceramic tiles and cement.

The present invention provides a pliable mop bucket insert, which can be adapted to fit various buckets and wringers with different geometries. The present invention also provides a device for receiving dirty washing liquid from a mop and containing clean washing liquid for wetting a mop separately, which includes a main container for containing the clean washing liquid, an insert being removably attached to the bucket for receiving the dirty liquid, and a wringer located inside the insert and supported by the bucket. A flexible bag is further provided with the insert to contain dirty washing liquid.
