A turbocharger, has a turbine for expanding a first medium and a compressor for compressing a second medium. The turbine includes a turbine housing and a turbine rotor. The compressor includes a compressor housing and a compressor rotor coupled to the turbine rotor via a shaft. A bearing housing is arranged between the compressor and turbine housings in which the shaft is mounted. The turbine and bearing housings are connected via a fastening device mounted on a flange of the turbine housing with a first section and a second section that covers a flange of the bearing housing at least in sections. The fastening device is contoured curved on a surface of the second section facing the flange of the bearing housing.

Turbocharger

A casing of a turbocharger surrounds a housing to be encased at least in sections, with axial casing segments, which follow the housing to be encased axially outside, and with radial casing segments, which follow the housing to be encased radially outside. In the radial casing segments slot-like material recesses are introduced. Two adjacent slot-like material recesses delimit a strap of a respective radial casing segment. In a region of the respective strap, the radial casing segments are exclusively connected to the housing to be encased. Outside the respective strap, the radial casing segments are exclusively connected to the axial casing segments.

Casing of a turbocharger and turbocharger

A turbine for a turbocharger, for expanding a medium, with a turbine rotor, having a turbine housing with an insert piece, which runs radially outside of the adjoining blades of the turbine rotor. The insert piece at an upstream end, includes a first flange and a second flange at a downstream end. The insert piece, in a middle section, which extends between the first flange and the second flange, has an approximately constant thickness.

Turbine and turbocharger

A turbocharger, with a turbine and compressor housing connected to a bearing housing. An inflow housing of the turbine and bearing housing are connected via a fastening device mounted to a flange of the inflow housing with a first section and partially overlaps a flange of the bearing housing with a second section. Between the inflow housing and the bearing housing, flanges of a nozzle ring and of a sealing cover are clamped. Adjoining surfaces contacting one another in a region of a first, second, and/or a third contact clamping region are hardened.

A radial compressor (), with a compressor rotor having moving blades and with a compressor housing () accommodating an insert piece () and a diffuser (), in which the insert piece () delimits a flow duct leading to the moving blades of the rotor and the diffuser () a flow duct leading away from the moving blades of the rotor at least in sections, and in which the diffuser () is designed as bladeless diffuser and as an integral part of the insert piece ().
