A flow tube () has a housing () including at least a first housing half () and a second housing half (). Each housing half () has a connection surface () intended for combination with the other housing half (). The connection surfaces () enclose a mounting gap () for an orifice element (). Outside of the mounting gap () the connection surfaces () butt against each other in some sections by respective abutting surface portions (), and outside of the mounting gap () and outside of the abutting surface portions () the housing halves () are integrally combined with each other. A method is provided for producing the flow tube, namely for integrally joining the housing halves ().

A respirator () and a mount for a respirator are provided including a mounting device for a cylinder (), preferably an oxygen cylinder. The mounting device forms an upper housing half () and a lower housing half () of the respirator () and includes at least one grip (), which makes transportation of the respirator () possible. The upper housing half () and lower housing half () are provided with a connection mechanism (), which connects the upper housing half () and the lower housing half ().

Respirator and wall mount for a respirator

A respiration humidifier (), including a humidifying chamber (), an inlet () for feeding breathing air () to be humidified into the humidifying chamber (), an outlet () for releasing the humidified breathing air () from the humidifying chamber (), a bottom () limiting the humidifying chamber () for receiving water () to be evaporated, water (), which is received by the bottom () in the humidifying chamber () and is to be evaporated for humidifying the breathing air () and at least one distributor () with capillary and/or suction action, which is arranged in the humidifying chamber () such that this is in contact with the water () to take up water () in the distributor () and is in contact with the breathing air in the humidifying chamber () for evaporating the water () taken up on the surface of the distributor () into the breathing air (). The respiration humidifier allows a high evaporating capacity to be reached with homogeneous air-vapor mixture at a low design effort. Furthermore, splash water is avoided in the humidifying chamber and the respiration humidifier is able to be manufactured at a low cost. This object is accomplished by the at least one distributor () covering at least 50% of the surface of the water ().

Respiration humidifier

An incubator or thermotherapy device is provided with a reclining surface and with one or more limiting walls and with openings or removed side walls and with a foot side opening or removed foot-side side wall. Air discharge channels (), on sides, contain guide elements of a guide device () with angles in the range of about 15&#xb0; to 100&#xb0; and spoilers of a deflecting device () with deflection angles of about 15&#xb0; to 110&#xb0;. The air discharge velocity is in the range of about 0.1 m/sec to 1.0 m/sec. The guide elements discharge angle in the front-side discharge channel corresponds to the deflection angle of the spoilers in the discharge channels. The air discharge velocity from the front-side discharge channel has a maximum in the middle of the discharge channel and changes continuously towards the sides to the air discharge velocity from the discharge channels.

Incubator with different operating states

A process is provided for operating a thermotherapy device with a bed surface () and with discharge channels for conditioned air in the longitudinal direction of the bed surface () and on the foot side () thereof as well as with an exhaust unit () above the bed surface (). The air being discharged from the discharge channels is directed towards the exhaust unit () such that the discharge angle &#x3b1; changes continuously as a function of the distance between the exhaust unit () and the site of the discharge flow from the discharge channels, the elevation angle &#x3b2; changes continuously as a function of the distance between the exhaust unit () and the site of the discharge flow from the discharge channels, and the value of the velocity of the discharge flow changes continuously as a function of the site of the discharge flow from the discharge channels.
