In a drive unit for a motor vehicle having a vehicle body, an electric machine which is supported by the vehicle body, a sprung wheel suspension and a wheel supported thereby, and the wheel being drive-connected to a device for transmitting torque between the electric machine and the wheel, the wheel suspension comprises a strut unit and the device for transmitting torque is arranged between the electric machine and the wheel and extends coaxially with respect to the axis of the strut unit so as to form a compact design with small unsprung masses while providing for the possibility of a torque transfer between the electric machine and the wheel.

Drive unit for a motor vehicle

In a motor vehicle drive arrangement having an electric motor with a rotor for driving an oil pump and being supported in an air space of a housing by a rotor disk of the rotor of the electric motor which is permanently connected to a pump rotor of the oil pump, a freewheeling mechanism for a mechanical drive of the pump rotor of the oil pump is provided for coupling the oil pump to a vehicle travel drive train of the vehicle drive arrangement when the travel drive train rotates faster than the electric motor.

Motor vehicle drive arrangement

In a motor vehicle drive arrangement oil is supplied to a drive gear mechanism and other drive elements by an oil pump which is driven only by an electric motor and is arranged in a space in which one or more torque transmission devices such as a hydrodynamic torque converter, an operable drive clutch and at least one electric motor for forming a hybrid drive are disposed and which is formed between the oil pump and electric motor, on the one hand, and the vehicle travel drive motor on the other, the oil pump is disposed around a shaft transmitting the drive torque to the transmission and is surrounded by the electric motor driving the pump.

A vehicle having a transmission for transmitting a torque from a drive machine to drive wheels, with the transmission having an transmission output shaft and a transmission input shaft, in which the torque can be transmitted from the drive machine to the transmission output shaft, and having an electrical machine which has a rotor and a stator, which means being provided in order to connect the electric-motor torque of the electrical machine optionally to the transmission input shaft or to the transmission output shaft.

Vehicle transmission with selectively-engageable electric motor

Hybrid drive containing a clutch between an engine power-output shaft () and a transmission power-input shaft () arranged axially with respect to the said power-output shaft; a first electric machine () connected to the engine power-output shaft () in a torque-transmitting manner; a second electric machine () connected to the transmission power-input shaft () in a torque-transmitting manner; preferably also a torsional vibration damper (), which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the engine power-output shaft (), the first-electric machine () being connected to the engine power-output shaft () in a torque-transmitting manner, ahead of the torsional vibration damper () in terms of the direction in which the torsional vibration damper () transmits the power of the propulsion drive engine. The parts of the hybrid drive are nested axially one inside the other.

Hybrid drive

A motor vehicle drive arrangement has a locomotive drive train and at least one liquid pump capable of being driven by the latter. During a standstill in rotation or during very slow rotation of the locomotive drive train, the pump is capable of being driven by an electric motor instead of by the locomotive drive train. Beyond a defined minimum rotational speed of the locomotive drive train, the liquid pump is capable of being driven by the latter instead of by the electric motor. At least one free-wheel is provided for this purpose.

An electric drive is complementary to an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle with a drive train having a differential and an electric motor integrated into the drive train. A main shaft of the electric motor is connected directly to a gear ring of the differential in a positive and/or non-positive manner.

Power train of a motor vehicle

A vehicle having a transmission for transmitting a torque from a drive machine to drive wheels, with the transmission having a transmission output shaft and a transmission input shaft, in which the torque can be transmitted from the drive machine to the transmission output shaft, and having an electrical machine which has a rotor and a stator, with means being provided in order to connect the electric-motor torque of the electrical machine optionally to the transmission input shaft or to the transmission output shaft.
