A system and method for protecting information managed by a content management system are disclosed herein. A first server of the content management system receives a request from a user or service to access a data item managed by the content management system. The first server determines a data type associated with the requested data item. The first server accesses a access control list to determine whether the user or service has permission to access data associated with the data type. The first server processes the request, based on a determination that the user or service has permissions to access data associated with the data type.

The hardware processor further implements a parity verifier to compare the determined hash values to a hash value of the candidate password to determine a count of a number of instances the hash value of the candidate password matches one of the hash values and an alarm action engine to identify a service category type associated with the candidate password, the service category type associated with a threshold and release the provisional transmission block of the candidate password when the count satisfies the threshold.

Technologies for managing sensor malfunctions in a compute system include detecting a malfunctioning sensor of the compute system and determining a sensor function performed by the malfunctioning sensor. In response to detection of the malfunctioning sensor, a different sensor of the compute system is selected to perform the sensor function of the malfunctioning sensor. The selected sensor may be of a different sensor type relative to the sensor type of the malfunctioning sensor. The compute system subsequently performs the sensor function of the malfunctioning sensor using the selected sensor. To do so, the compute system may increase, modify, or adjust the manner in which the sensor data from the selected sensor is processed.
