A method and device are provided for indicating wear of at least one brake pad in a disc brake having an electric motor actuator. The method adds up wear adjustment travel paths of the electric motor actuator and/or of an adjustment motor, and indicates the sum of the wear adjustment paths so obtained as the wear of the brake pad or as a residual brake pad service life.

Method and device for indicating wear of a brake pad in a disk brake with an electric motor actuator

A brake lining assembly for a disc brake is configured for road vehicles and includes a brake caliper and brake linings located on either side of the brake disc. An unchecked dismantling of the brake linings is effectively prevented by having a mounting assembly formed from the two brake linings and the lining retaining bracket. To achieve this, the end regions of the lining retaining bracket are connected to at least one of the brake linings in a positive fit.

Brake lining assembly

A pneumatic disc brake for utility vehicles has two brake pad carrier plates to which brake pads are fixed. The disc brake is equipped with an application device which has two pressure plungers. By way of a force-absorbing connection between the pressure plungers and the facing surface of the brake pad carrier plate, a bridge is relieved of bending stresses. The end faces of the pressure plungers and at least the contact faces of the facing brake pad carrier plate are provided with profilings, which engage into one another in a form-fitting manner, such that at least in the event of full-load braking, each brake pad is moved in the peripheral direction.

Disc brake

A brake lining for a disc brake of a road vehicle has a blade-type retaining spring for the lining. At least two peripheral lining springs are situated on each brake lining, adjacent to the retaining spring, and exert a compressive force on at least some sections of the periphery of the lining carrier. The springs are configured in such a way that they respectively cover an edge region of the brake lining carrier, with the latter having at least two corner regions.

Holding device for the brake linings of a disk brake and associated brake lining

A disk brake for a vehicle, in particular a commercial vehicle, including an application device, which is used to apply a brake lining to a brake disk by at least one or two actuating spindles running parallel and at a distance from one another in a bridge. The application device has an anti-friction roller, which is supported on a pivotable lever of the application device. The disk brake is configured in such a way that the anti-friction roller is fixed as a separate component radially and axially on the lever and is held by an anti-friction roller holder that is fixed to the lever. The anti-friction roller holder is provided with cage return guides, which, when the lever is pivoted back into an initial position, likewise press the journal bearings into an initial position.

Disc brake for a vehicle, in particular a commercial vehicle

The invention relates to a disc brake, particularly for a goods vehicle, comprising a brake caliper, which has a brake disc that can be brought into active contact with brake shoes and which can be fixed to a brake support in a manner that enables it to be axially displaced relative to the brake disc. The inventive disc brake also comprises a closure plate, which closes the brake caliper on the side facing the brake disc, and comprises a removable retainer, which is fixed relative to the brake caliper and on which springs acting upon the outer edges of the brake shoes are supported. The disc brake is designed in such a manner that a fixing device is provided in the closure plate, and the facing end of the retainer lies inside the fixing device while being held in a direction of loading.
