A two-track vehicle with a vehicle body suspension, in particular with a front auxiliary frame, which is connected at the lateral vehicle body longitudinal carriers, and with a drive assembly-bearing component, in particular with a tunnel transverse bearing carrier, which is arranged at a longitudinal offset at a distance from the auxiliary frame and which bridges over a vehicle body central tunnel. A drive assembly is supported by the auxiliary frame and also on the tunnel transverse carrier. An intermediate coupling element is provided, which connects the auxiliary frame to the tunnel transverse carrier in a force-transmitting manner, while the longitudinal offset is bridged over.

Two-track vehicle

A wheel suspension for a vehicle axle, in particular a front axle, of a two-track vehicle, having a wheel carrier carrying a vehicle wheel, this carrier being linked via a link assembly to a vehicle body, which link assembly has at least two links that are linked to the wheel carrier at bearing points on the side of the wheel carrier and to the vehicle body at bearing points on the body side. In the event of a head-on collision, in particular with a small lateral overlap, the vehicle wheel can be shifted rearwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and specifically with a pivoting movement of the crash-facing first link and with deformation of the crash-remote second link.

Wheel suspension for a vehicle axle

A device for generating an impulse acting on a vehicle in a transverse direction of the vehicle, resulting from energy released in an offset impact of the vehicle against an obstacle, includes a compression-resistant beam extending in the transverse direction, a support member for attaching the beam in a rest position to a subframe or a body structure of the vehicle, an activator for moving the beam substantially in the transverse direction in the event of an accident, and a coupling device which cooperates is operatively connected, at least during movement of the beam in the transverse direction, with a drive unit or aggregate and deflects the drive unit relative to the vehicle's body in the transverse direction at least in the region of the operative connection.

Device for generating an impulse acting on a vehicle in a transverse direction of the vehicle

The invention relates to a subframe for a motor vehicle, comprising two front node elements () for connecting to a vehicle body, which node elements are spaced from each other in a vehicle transverse direction (y) and are connected to each other by means of a front subframe cross member (), and comprising at least one functional part (), in particular a rotary actuator, which extends adjacently to the subframe cross member () in a vehicle transverse direction (y), by means of which functional part a torsion can be applied to torsion springs that act on the vehicle wheel suspension. According to the invention, the subframe cross member () has an opening, which provides an additional installation space, in which the functional part () at least partially protrudes.

Subframe for a motor vehicle

An auxiliary frame for a motor vehicle, includes two front joint elements, spaced apart in transverse direction of the vehicle and configured for attachment to a vehicle body; a front cross member connecting the two front joint elements; a reinforcement element, having rear joint elements spaced apart in the transverse direction of the vehicle for attachment to the vehicle body, wherein the reinforcement element is mounted at first connection sites on the two front joint elements so as to be spaced apart from the front cross member by an offset in longitudinal direction of the vehicle; and at least one support leg extending the reinforcement element forwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and being connected to the front cross member at a second connection site and bridging the longitudinal offset.
