Patient table

A device and method for motorized support of patient positioning are provided. The position of a patient bed and the setting of an electric motor drive are recorded which may differ due to elasticity and/or flexibility of the bed drive. A control signal for the electric motor drive is generated depending on the position of the patient bed and the setting of the electric motor drive. The drive can thus be activated for servo-support in case the patient bed is manually displaced, whereby the control signal is generated depending on a change in position of the patient bed, which does not correspond to a simultaneous change in the setting of the electric motor drive.

Device and method for motorized support of a patient positioning facility

A lifting device adjusts the height of a top part relative to a base part for a patient couch. The lifting device includes an elevator mechanism and a drive unit for height adjustment. The elevator mechanism has a scissor mechanism with two scissor arms, which are pivotably connected together via a scissor pivot joint. The elevator mechanism further includes an elbow mechanism having two elbow arms, which are pivotably connected together via an elbow pivot joint. Each of the elbow arms is linked to a scissor arm via a linking pivot joint.

Lifting device

A spindle drive and patient positioning system is provided. The spindle drive includes a drive that is operative to drive a spindle nut. An axially transportable spindle is circled by the spindle nut. A catch nut that is not in mutual engagement with the spindle has a predefined distance to the drive. When the spindle nut fails, the spindle is operative to move the catch nut into mutual engagement with the spindle. A switching element is fixed to the catch nut and includes an emergency off switch, which is activated by a switching sensor.

Spindle drive and a patient positioning system

A medical lifting device is provided. The medical lifting device comprises a lifting unit that is operable in a linear motion. A spindle drive is operable to adjust the lifting unit. A first ball joint is disposed in the lifting unit and a second ball joint is disposed where the spindle drive is respectively supported.

Lifting unit

A patient examination support system comprises a support structure and a tabletop. The tabletop supported on the support structure is displaceable toward an examination region. The examination region is spaced apart from the support structure in a longitudinal direction of the tabletop, and a supporting arm, which is extendable from the support structure in a direction of the examination region, braces the tabletop.
