The invention relates to a connecting piece () for fluid lines of an exhaust gas aftertreatment system (), comprising a hollow body () having at least three fluid connection points (), which are fluidically connected to each other in the hollow body (), at least two of the fluid connection points () being separated from a third fluid connection point () by means of respective membranes (), each membrane () being permeable to a liquid and, when wetted by the liquid, being impermeable to a gas.

Cross-sectional geometries of filter elements for soot particle filters are described, allowing uniform loading of the filter element with soot. Starting with hexagonal cell shapes, other polygonal shapes are arranged around them. All the cross-sectional geometries have in common the fact that the cross-sectional area of all inlet channels is larger than the cross-sectional area of all outlet channels.
