A labelling unit and a method for labelling containers is provided. Said method provides rapid and reliable switching movements with low noise development and low wear of the mechanical components in that suction bars for suctioning label areas at places where container gaps occur can be actively switched back to an inner position, in which they do not come into contact with a gluing unit, and in that the switching process is triggered with the aid of a stationary toggle lever.

Labeling unit and method for labeling containers

The invention relates to a method and guide system for the transport of containers or container components, in particular, preforms and/or closure caps, in industrial systems for container production and/or product filling, wherein the containers/container components are transported along at least one guide element. By generating an air cushion between the guide element and the containers/container components by flowing through a microporous layer formed on the guide element, even container components which are lightweight and/or do not slide well can be reliably slidingly transported along the guide elements, and containers can be reliably supplied to dividing worms or similar using dynamic pressure.

Method and guide system for the transport of containers or container components in industrial systems for container production and/or product filling

An apparatus for the application of hotmelt onto labels, includes a vacuum cylinder, a gluing unit with a glue roller unit, and a glue reservoir. The gluing unit is pivotally mounted such that it can be slewed away from the vacuum cylinder and the glue reservoir is designed as a self-contained unit that is structurally separate from the pivotable gluing unit. A glue reservoir for hotmelt includes an inner body with heating fins, a thermally insulating jacket enclosing the inner body, and an outer casing made of plastic.

A treatment machine for containers, in particular bottles, having a rotatable container table; a lift guard cover formed laterally on the container table; and a rail guide, which is stationarily fixed in position above the container table and which has the lift guard cover secured thereto such that it is displaceable in a vertical direction. The lift guard cover includes a carrier for fastening to the rail guide, the carrier extending in a circumferential direction. The lift guard cover can be mounted in a suspended fashion. Access to the container table in the raised condition of the lift guard cover is not impaired by guide rails extending down to the container table.

Container treatment machine

A device for applying glue onto labels, includes a drum rotatable about a predetermined rotational axis and, a glue application unit for applying glue onto an external surface of the rotatable drum. The glue application unit includes a receiving space for receiving the glue as well as a supply unit for applying the glue to the receiving space which is arranged relative to the drum such that any glue present in the glue application unit contacts the drum in a predetermined contact area. The glue application unit includes a first wall element, which contacts the drum during operation, and a second wall element arranged behind the first wall element in the direction of movement of the drum and which also contacts the drum. At least one wall element is elastically pressed against the external surface of the drum.
