A hub lock nut assembly for retaining a vehicle wheel hub in position. The hub lock nut assembly comprising a hub lock nut and a mating component with which the hub lock nut is arranged to be mated in a mated position. The hub lock nut comprises a circumferential inner wall defining a central hole, the inner wall having a threaded portion. One of the hub lock nut or the mating component comprises at least one resilient portion adapted to be movable in a radial direction outwardly of the central hole when subjected to an external force provided by the other of the mating component or the hub lock nut. The at least one resilient portion having an engagement area for receiving said external force, wherein the engagement area is located radially outwardly of the threaded portion.

Hub lock nut assembly

The invention relates to a wheel end assembly for a vehicle, comprising a wheel end bearing, a hub casing including a first material and a different second material joined together as a single piece, the hub casing comprising a radially external body of said first material and a radially internal tubular core of said second material, the tubular core being provided concentrically around the wheel end bearing, and an annular seal which is concentric with the wheel end bearing and the hub casing, wherein the annular seal has a radial extension from the wheel end bearing towards and into contact with one of the external body and the tubular core, and wherein the annular seal is spaced apart from the other one of the external body and the tubular core. The invention also relates to a wheel end arrangement and to a vehicle.

Wheel end assembly for a vehicle

The brake disc arrangement () comprises a brake disc () which extends annularly about an axially extending central axis and defines an inwardly facing circumference comprising a splined portion for transferring torques between the brake disc () and a corresponding hub, when the brake disc arrangement () is mounted to the hub. The brake disc arrangement further comprises a spring assembly () adapted to be axially connected to the corresponding hub. The inwardly facing circumference of the brake disc () comprises one or more cavities (), each cavity () being defined by axially opposing lateral walls (). Brake disc arrangement for a vehicle

A wheel brake arrangement for a wheel of a vehicle, said wheel brake arrangement comprising a wheel hub () comprising an outwardly facing gear teeth arrangement () arranged in a circumferential direction thereof; and a brake disc () comprising an inwardly facing gear teeth arrangement () arranged in meshed connection with the outwardly facing gear teeth arrangement of the wheel hub for preventing a relative circumferential movement between the brake disc and the wheel hub, wherein one of the wheel hub and the brake disc comprises a circumferentially arranged groove (); wherein the wheel brake arrangement further comprises at least one retainer () connected between the wheel hub and the brake disc for preventing a relative axial movement between the wheel hub and the brake disc, wherein the at least one retainer is at least partially arranged in the circumferentially arranged groove () of one of the wheel hub and the brake disc.

Wheel brake arrangement

A splined portion () connected to one out of a brake disc and a hub to which the brake disc is to be connected. The splined portion comprises teeth () adapted to mesh with grooves in a second splined portion () connected to the other of said brake disc and hub, and extends annularly about an axially extending central axis. At least one, preferably a plurality, of the teeth () of the splined portion () is split into at least two tooth portions () being resiliently movable towards and away from each other in a circumferential direction of the splined portion (). The splined portion () further comprises a tensioning means () adapted to releasably adjust the circumferential distance between the two tooth portions ().
