The present invention concerns doped catalysts on an alumino-silicate support with an adapted macropore content and hydrocracking/hydroconversion and hydrotreatment processes employing them. The catalyst comprises at least one hydrodehydrogenating element selected from the group formed by elements from group VIB and group VIII of the periodic table, a controlled quantity of phosphorus (optionally in combination with boron and/or silicon) as a doping element, and a non-zeolitic support based on alumina-silica containing a quantity of more than 5% by weight and 95% by weight or less of silica (SiO).

Doped alumino-silicate catalyst and improved process for treatment of hydrocarbon feeds

The invention relates to a process for sulfurization of catalysts for hydrotreatment, in particular the catalysts for hydrotreating refractory oxides by sulfurization, in which said catalysts are subjected to a sulfurization stage under a gas atmosphere that contains hydrogen sulfide (HS), hydrogen (H), and optionally a cover gas for dilution and in which the HS/Hmolar ratio is more than 4 and the HS partial pressure is at least equal to 1 kPa. Said sulfurization stage can be carried out in the hydrotreatment unit (sulfurization in situ) or, prior to the charging of the catalyst, in the hydrotreatment unit (sulfurization ex situ) and is generally carried out at a temperature of less than 600&#xb0; C., preferably less than 500&#xb0; C. The invention also relates to the catalysts that are sulfurized by said sulfurization process and their use for hydrorefining and/or hydroconversion/hydrocracking of hydrocarbon feedstocks.

Process for sulfurization of catalysts for hydrotreatment

A process for production of very high-quality base oils, and simultaneous production of high-quality middle distillates, comprises the successive stages of hydroisomerization and catalytic dewaxing. The hydroisomerization takes place in the presence of a catalyst containing at least one noble metal deposited on an amorphous acid support, the metal dispersion being less than 20%. The support is preferably an amorphous silica-alumina. The catalytic dewaxing takes place in the presence of a catalyst containing at least one hydrodehydrogenating element (Group VIII) and at least one molecular sieve chosen from ZBM-30, EU-2, and EU-11.

Flexible method for producing oil bases and distillates by hydroisomerization-conversion on a weakly dispersed catalyst followed by a catalyctic dewaxing

For producing very high quality base stock and for simultaneously producing high quality middle distillates, successive hydroisomerisation and catalytic dewaxmg steps are employed wherein the hydroisomerisation is carried out in the presence of a catalyst containing at least one noble metal deposited on an amorphous acidic support, the dispersion of the metal being 20%-100%. The support is preferably an amorphous silica-alumina. Catalytic dewaxing is carried out in the presence of a catalyst containing at least one hydrodehydrogenating element (group VIII) and at least one molecular sieve selected from ZBM-30, EU-2 and EU-11.

A hydrotreating catalyst that contains at least one element of group VIB and/or group VIII of the periodic table and optionally phosphorus and/or silicon, with an organic compound as an additive that contains at least one nitrogen atom, is used for the transformation of hydrocarbon-containing fractions, in particular the hydrodesulfurization, the hydrodenitrification, the hydrodemetallization, the hydrogenation of various petroleum fractions, such as residues, vacuum distillates, gas oils and gasolines, and the hydroconversion of vacuum distillates.

The invention concerns a process for producing gasoline with an improved octane number, optionally accompanied by oil and/or middle distillate production, by conversion-hydroisomerization of the paraffins in the feed using a catalyst containing at least one noble metal deposited on an amorphous acidic support. Isoparaffins are separated from the gasoline cut obtained, and normal paraffins and possibly monobranched paraffins contained in the resulting effluent are isomerized using a catalyst containing at least one hydrodehydrogenating metal and at least one acidic solid. The ensemble of the streams charged with isoparaffins with an improved octane number is sent to the gasoline pool. The residue undergoes catalytic dewaxing.
