Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for generating a quantified indicator of cognitive skills in an individual. In certain configurations, the apparatus, systems, and methods can be implemented for enhancing cognitive skills in an individual.

Cognitive platform including computerized elements

Example systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for using data collected from the responses of an individual with the computerized tasks of a cognitive platform to derive performance metrics as an indicator of cognitive abilities, and applying predictive models to generate an indication of a neurodegenerative condition. The example systems, methods, and apparatus also can be configured to adapt the computerized tasks to enhance the individual's cognitive abilities, and for using data collected from the responses of an individual with the adapted computerized tasks to derive performance metrics and applying predictive models to generate the indication of neurodegenerative condition.

Cognitive platform configured as a biomarker or other type of marker

A cognitive platform is disclosed that is configured for either or both of assessing or enhancing the cognitive abilities of an individual based on implementing one or more navigation task(s) in an environment. A first task is rendered that requires the individual to rely on allocentric navigation capabilities to navigate in the environment based on a first set of views of portions of the environment rendered at the user interface. A second task is rendered that requires the individual to rely on egocentric navigation capabilities to navigate in the environment. An indication of a cognitive ability in the individual can be generated based on the difference in the individual's performance at the first task as compared to the second task.

Platform for identification of biomarkers using navigation tasks and treatments using navigation tasks

Adaptive modification and presentment of user interface elements in a computerized therapeutic treatment regimen. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for non-linear computational analysis of cData and nData derived from user interactions with a mobile electronic device executing an instance of a computerized therapeutic treatment regimen. The cData and nData may be computed according to one or more artificial neural network or deep learning technique to derive patterns between computerized stimuli or interactions and sensor data. Patterns derived from analysis of the cData and nData may be used to define an effort metric associated with user input patterns in response to the computerized stimuli or interactions being indicative of a measure of user engagement or effort. A computational model or rules engine may be applied to adapt, modify, configure or present one or more graphical user interface elements in a subsequent instance of the computerized therapeutic treatment regimen.

Cognitive platform for deriving effort metric for optimizing cognitive treatment

Example systems, methods, and apparatus, including cognitive platforms, are provided for computing performance metrics of an individual based at least in part on user interaction(s) with computerized tasks and/or interference and at least one physiological measure of the individual, where the performance metric provides an indication of the cognitive abilities of the individual. The apparatus can be coupled to at least one physiological component to perform the physiological measurement of the individual. The apparatus also can be configured to adapt the tasks and/or interferences to enhance the individual's cognitive abilities.

Example systems, methods, and apparatus, including cognitive platforms, are provided for applying signal detection metrics in computer-implemented adaptive response-deadline procedures to data collected based at least in part on user interaction(s) with computerized tasks and/or interferences.
