Front light source module and display apparatus

An edge-lit light source includes at least two light guide layers and one or more light-emitting elements. Side surfaces of each layer include a light incident surface and a light exit surface. The layer includes a bending region. A light-emitting surface of each element faces a light incident surface of at least one layer. The layer includes first and second light guide portions. A display module and a display device are provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure. The display module includes a display panel, the display panel includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, at least one of the first surface and the second surface is a display surface, and the display module further includes an optical modulation structure arranged on at least one of the first surface and the second surface of the display panel. The optical modulation structure includes: a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate arranged opposite to each other, a charged particle arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate, and a first transparent electrode structure arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate and configured to form an electric field for driving the charged particle to move.

A light guiding structure, a light source module and a display module are disclosed. The light guiding structure includes a light guiding body and at least one light guiding cavity disposed in the light guiding body. The light guiding body includes a light incident surface and a light exit surface which are disposed opposite to each other. Each light guiding cavity includes a first end close to the light incident surface of the light guiding body and a second end away from the light incident surface of the light guiding body, and the light guiding cavity extends from the first end to the second end.

An edge-lit light source includes one or at least two light guide layers arranged in a stack and one or more light-emitting elements. The ring-shaped frame structure is configured to undergo a reversible deformation between a first state and a second state upon a change in an electric field applied on the ring-shaped frame structure. A distance between two positions on an inner wall of the ring-shaped frame structure and across the central opening having a first value in the first state and a second value in the second state. The first value is greater than the second value.

A back light unit and a display device are proposed. The back light unit includes a light guide plate and multiple light emitting diodes, wherein the multiple light emitting diodes are disposed on a light entrance surface of a side end of the light guide plate, the light entrance surface of the light guide plate is disposed with at least one groove, and the at least one groove is disposed between at least part of adjacent light emitting diodes.

Light guide assembly, method for manufacturing the same, and total reflective display device

A light guide plate includes a through hole; at least one light transmitting component disposed within the light guide plate; at least one light incident surface; at least one light source; and at least one lens structure located between the light source and the incident surface. The light transmitting component is configured to transmit a portion of light that enters the light incident surface to a first region of the light guide plate that would otherwise be masked by the through hole. The light guide plate might backlight a display panel. A method for manufacturing the light guide plate is also provided.

In one embodiment, a display module includes a display panel and a light-emitting module.
