A 3D printing method implemented by swaths is disclosed. When printing swaths of a printing layer, a 3D printer first obtains a default swath-width, and adjusts the default swath-width based on a shift value, then controls a nozzle to print the swaths according to the adjusted swath-width. When printing a final swath of the same printing layer, the 3D printer compensates a remained swath-width of the final swath according to the adjusted shift value(s) of previous printed swath(s), and controls the nozzle to print the final swath according to the compensated remained swath-width. When printing different printing layers, the 3D printer uses different shift values to adjust the swath-width of each printing layer. Because swaths of different printing layers have different widths, the positions of seams between each two swaths of each printing layer are staggered, and thus the strength of printed 3D models is enhanced.

3D printing method implemented by swaths and product from the method

A 3D printing apparatus including a 3D printing device, a VR display device, and a processing device is provided. The VR display device displays a VR image. The VR display device includes an input device. The input device receives an input signal and the input signal in response to selecting a virtual object in the VR image. The processing device obtains a generic model data corresponding to the virtual object based on the input signal. The processing device executes an edit module to edit a 3D model corresponding to the virtual object based on the generic model data. When the processing device outputs a plurality of layered data corresponding to the 3D model to the 3D printing device, the 3D printing device prints a 3D object corresponding to the 3D model based on the plurality of layered data. Moreover, a 3D printing method is also provided.

Three-dimensional printing apparatus and three-dimensional printing method

The disclosure provides a printing layer trimming method and an electronic device using the same. The printing layer trimming method is suitable for the electronic device and includes steps as follows. An original layer is converted into a first printing layer. At least one data region of the first printing layer is identified to identify at least one blank region of the first printing layer. Then, the blank region of the first printing layer is trimmed off The trimmed first printing layer is further converted into a print head signal data and provided to a printing device to print a corresponding three-dimensional structure. The disclosure also provides another printing layer trimming method and an electronic device using the same for trimming a second printing layer generated according to a print head signal data and providing the second printing layer to a printing device to print a corresponding three-dimensional structure.

3D printing data generating method and electronic device using the same

A 3D printing method adapted to a 3D printing apparatus is provided. The 3D printing apparatus is configured to edit a plurality of sliced images, and execute a 3D printing operation according to the edited sliced images. The 3D printing method includes: analyzing a plurality of sliced objects of the sliced images, so as to draw a plurality of sliced object casings according to individual contours of the sliced objects, where the sliced object casings respectively include a part of the sliced objects; and respectively deleting the other parts of the sliced objects outside the sliced object casings, and integrating the sliced object casings of the sliced images to obtain a 3D model casing. Moreover, the 3D printing apparatus applying the 3D printing method is also provided.

A three-dimensional (3D) printing apparatus includes a tank containing a forming material in liquid, a platform dipped into or moved away the forming material, a curing device disposed besides the tank or the platform, and a control device electrically connected to at least one of the tank and the platform and the curing device. An inner bottom of the tank includes a forming area and a peeling area in a stepped shape, and the forming area is higher than the peeling area. A 3D printing method includes providing the 3D printing apparatus, then the liquid-state forming material between the platform and the forming area is cured to form a solidification layer. Afterwards, a position and an occupied proportion of the solidification layer corresponding to the inner bottom, and a movement range of a relative movement is determined according thereto so as to completely peel off the solidification layer.

Three-dimensional printing method

A 3D printing method and apparatus using the same are provided. The printing method includes: generating a two-dimensional layer information related with multiple layer objects of a three-dimensional object according to a three-dimensional model information, whereas the three-dimensional object has a forming part and an object embedded part; analyzing the two-dimensional layer information to identify a forming region and an object embedded region within each of the layer objects, whereas the forming regions constitute the forming part and the object embedded regions constitute the object embedded part; selecting at least one section of the three-dimensional object as a separation plane; printing the layer objects, layer by layer, with a forming material and a supporting material, to coat the forming material onto the forming region without overlapping with the separation plane, and coat the supporting material onto the forming region overlapping with the separation plane and the object embedded region.

Three dimensional printing method and apparatus using the same

A method and a system of three-dimensional (3D) printing are provided. The method of 3D printing is adapted to a 3D printing apparatus and includes following steps: slicing a 3D object model into a plurality of sub-slicing layers according to a printing plane; merging a default number of adjacent sub-slicing layers into a plurality of grey-scale slicing layers; and, printing a 3D object according to the grey-scale slicing layers. The thickness of each sub-slicing layer is thinner than the thickness of a default layer used whenever the 3D printing apparatus performs a single printing process. The thickness of each of the grey-scale slicing layers is equal to the thickness of the default layer used whenever the 3D printing apparatus performs the single printing process.

Method of three-dimensional printing and system thereof

A 3D printing method implemented by movable platform is disclosed. When printing a printing layer, a 3D printer first calculates respectively a starting point and an ending point of each swath of the printing layer, and calculates movement information of a movable printing platform upon an X-axis and a Y-axis of the 3D printer according to the starting points and the ending points. Next, the 3D printer controls the printing platform to move along the X-axis and the Y-axis based on the movement information, and controls a nozzle of the 3D printer to jet ink while the printing platform moves to corresponding positions. Therefore, the 3D printer uses the printing platform to complete printing actions of each swath.

3D printing method implemented by movable platform

A printing method for a 3D printer is present. After opening a 3D model, the method divides the 3D model into several area objects which are separately corresponding to different areas of the 3D model being formed on a forming platform of the printer. When executing printing procedures, the method firstly determines a lowest area object of the several unfinished area objects. Then, a nozzle array of the 3D printer is controlled to move to upon an area according to the determined area object, and to jet ink upon the area for stacking the determined area object. After the determined area object is stacked completely, the nozzle array is then controlled to move to other area and stack other area object.

The processing unit formats a sliced file into a printing head signal file, wherein the sliced file and the printing head signal file correspond to a three-dimensional structure, the sliced file includes layer data corresponding to a plurality of layers of the three-dimensional structure, and the print head signal file includes layer printing data corresponding to the layers of the three-dimensional structure. The mixing unit combines part of the layer data in the sliced file and part of the layer printing data in the printing head signal file to derive a hybrid file, and stores the hybrid file in a storing unit of the electronic device, wherein the layer data and the layer printing data in the hybrid file correspond to different layers of the three-dimensional structure.

Three-dimensional printing device and method for storing printing data thereof

A method for arranging joints to a 3D model is present. The method first obtains a 3D file, and executes a slice process to a 3D model recorded in the 3D file for obtaining a plurality of cross sections. During the slice process, the method determines if differences between each two cross-section areas of two adjoined cross sections is larger than a threshold. If the difference between the two cross-section areas of two adjoined cross sections is larger than the threshold, the method obtains a corresponding joint data from a database, and arranges the joint data into a position between the two adjoined cross sections. The method finally outputs the arranged 3D model to a 3D printer.

Method for arranging joints to 3D model, arranging apparatus for the method, and application program for using the same

A three-dimensional (3D) printing structure that includes an object and a support member is provided. The support member is located on one side of the object to support the object. The support member includes a plurality of support bricks and a filler. The support bricks are stacked together. A first portion of the filler fills the space among the support bricks, and a second portion of the filler fills the space between the object and the support bricks adjacent to the object. Accordingly, the support member of the 3D printing structure is able to support the object, and thus the object can be formed through 3D printing.
