A wireless communication device includes a transceiver device and a data processing device. The transceiver device receives a frame from a wireless communication channel. The data processing device receives the frame and determines whether at least one of multiple predetermined frames has been received or is about to be received according to the frame. The data processing device enables a batch-frame indication mechanism when determining that said at least one of the multiple predetermined frames has been received or is about to be received. When the batch-frame indication mechanism is enabled, every time when one of the multiple predetermined frames is received, it is buffered in a reception queue instead of issuing a fetch indication, and when a number of predetermined frames buffered in the reception queue reaches a predetermined batch size, the data processing device issues the fetch indication to a back-end processing device.

An electrically tunable liquid crystal lens includes a carrier substrate, a common electrode layer disposed on the carrier substrate, a liquid crystal unit, a patterned electrode layer, a terminal electrode layer, a dielectric insulating layer, and a cover. The liquid crystal unit is disposed on the common electrode layer opposite to the carrier substrate, and includes a plurality of liquid crystal molecules. The patterned electrode layer is disposed on the liquid crystal unit opposite to the common electrode layer, and has a plurality of aperture patterns located within a projection of the liquid crystal unit on the patterned electrode layer. The terminal electrode layer is disposed on the patterned electrode layer opposite to the liquid crystal unit. The dielectric insulating layer is disposed between the patterned electrode layer and the terminal electrode layer. The cover is disposed on the terminal electrode layer opposite to the dielectric insulating layer.

A pancake lens assembly includes a partially reflective mirror, a reflective polarizer, a quarter waveplate, a polarization-dependent optical device, and at least one polarization controller. When a light beam is introduced into the pancake lens assembly along an optical axis in a Z direction to pass through the polarization controller in a first state, a polarization direction of the light beam is converted by the polarization controller. When the light beam is introduced into the pancake lens assembly along the optical axis to pass through the polarization controller in a second state, the polarization direction of the light beam is prevented from being converted by the polarization controller.

A metal-ion battery is provided. The metal-ion battery can include a negative electrode, a positive electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode and the negative electrode are separated by the separator and the electrolyte is disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode can include a negative electrode current-collector and a negative electrode active layer, wherein the negative electrode current-collector has a porous structure and the negative electrode current-collector directly contacts to the surface of the negative electrode active layer. A varifocal lens device includes a lens unit and a polarization controller. The lens unit has different optical powers for different polarization directions of light. When a light beam is introduced into the varifocal lens device through the polarization controller in a first state, a polarization direction of the light beam is converted by the polarization controller. When the light beam is introduced into the varifocal lens device through the polarization controller in a second state, the polarization direction of the light beam is prevented from being converted by the polarization controller.

An index grating of an optical encoder provided by the invention has a main technical feature of increasing a ratio of light-transmissible area of a grating per unit area, thereby increasing a light source utilization efficiency and a signal intensity, and reducing light-blocking ratio caused by dust and other foreign matters, thereby reducing a degree of influence on light intensity, so as to improve a sensing precision of the optical encoder.

An electrode and a device employing the same are provided. The electrode includes a main body, and an active material. The main body includes a cavity and is made of a conductive network structure. In particular, the active material is disposed in the cavity, wherein the length of the longest side of the particle of the active material is greater than the length of the longest side of the pore of the conductive network structure such that the active material is confined in the conductive network structure.

Electrode and device employing the same

The present invention is directed to a device which includes the following features: a light source illuminates a target to generate an optical inspection signal; a probe head provides an optical path for the optical inspection signal; a probe tube arranged at a front end of the probe head; at least one switched filter module arranged in the optical path, allowing the optical inspection signal to pass therethrough to generate a corresponding spectral signal; and an image sensor arranged behind the switched filter module, receiving the spectral signal and generating a spectral image. The spectral image can be transmitted to an external device, wherefrom the user can use the spectral image to examine the target in further detail. The present invention features a rotary-type or movable-type switched filter module, which facilitates the user to switch filters easily during optical inspection.

Portable noninvasive inspection device

A real-time color mapping system includes a memory and a converting module. The memory is configured for storing a mapping table. The converting module is configured for reading the mapping table stored in the memory, and for converting first image grayscale values corresponding to a first image signal into second image grayscale values corresponding to a second image signal according to the mapping table. The converting module utilizes at least part of bits corresponding to each of the first image grayscale values as a memory address to look up in the mapping table, thereby converting the first image grayscale values into the second image grayscale values. A real-time color mapping method is provided herein as well.

Real-time color mapping system and method

A system for measuring microfluctuation of accommodation comprises a measuring module and a processing module. The measuring module includes at least one first sensing element attached to the area around an eye of a testee for measuring an EMG signal. The processing module is coupled with the measuring module for picking up a specific frequency range of the EMG signal as a measurement index of microfluctuation of accommodation, wherein the specific frequency range is between 0.1 Hz and 100 Hz. The system allows the testee to be tested in an open field of view and exempts the testee from experiencing fatigue in the muscle around the eyes. The system is compact and convenient to carry. A method for measuring microfluctuation of accommodation is also disclosed.

Provided is a waste heat recovery apparatus including a first heat exchanger, a reformer and a reformer feed pre-heater sequentially disposed on or in the waste gas exhaust pipe from the upstream to the downstream thereof, wherein the waste gas temperature at the upstream of the waste gas exhaust pipe is higher than that at the downstream. In an embodiment, the reformer can be a hydrogen-generation reformer, and the generated hydrogen is introduced into the burning equipment for use. In such manner, the waste heat can be effectively utilized, and the carbon deposition issue inside the burning equipment can be fixed. A waste heat recovery method is also provided.

An optical detecting device includes a reflecting element, a main body, a light source and a plurality of photosensitive elements. The reflecting element has a reflecting surface. The main body has an installing surface. The installing surface at least partially faces to the reflecting surface. The main body is configured to move along a moving direction relative to the reflecting element. The moving direction is substantially parallel with the reflecting surface. The light source is disposed on the installing surface and is configured to emit a light ray towards the reflecting surface. The photosensitive elements are disposed on the installing surface. Sides of the photosensitive elements close to the light source surround the light source to form a light source region. The light source is at least partially located in the light source region.

Optical detecting device

A display structure is provided. The display structure includes a first substrate, a pixel array, a second substrate and an optical component. The pixel array is disposed on the first substrate. Each of pixels of the pixel array includes a light-transparent region and a non-light-transparent region. The second substrate is disposed on the pixel array. The optical component has a microlens structure. After the light passes through the microlens structure, the light passes directly through the plurality of the light-transparent regions without passing through the edge of the plurality of the non-light-transparent regions.

Display structure

A head-mount eye tracking system including a first light source, a first pupil image capturing device, a first and a second environmental image capturing devices, a fixing device and an image identification system. The first light source is applied to illuminate a first eye of a user. The first pupil image capturing device is applied to capture a first pupil image of the first eye. The first and the second environmental image capturing devices are respectively applied to capture a first and a second environmental images in front of the user. The fixing device is mounted to the head of the user to fix the first light source, the first pupil image capturing device, the first and the second environmental image capturing devices on the head of the user. The image identification system is applied to map the first or the second environmental images to the first pupil image.

Head-mount eye tracking system with improved determination of gazing position

A microscanning system including a microscope, a relay lens device, a stepping motor and a hyper-spectrometer is disclosed. The microscope is adapted to acquire and enlarge an image of an object to generate an enlarged image which is a 2D image distributed along the first direction and second direction. The relay lenses device disposed behind the microscope receives and transfers the enlarged image outputted by the microscope. The stepping motor electrically connected to the relay lens device reciprocates the relay lens linearly in the first direction device in a stepwise manner along the second direction. The hyper-spectrometer disposed behind the rely lens device receives the partial enlarged images of the object along the first direction that are transferred by the relay lens device sequentially along the second direction, and transform the partially enlarged images into the corresponding spectrum information.
