Disclosed herein are a catalyst composition, catalyst devices, and methods for removing formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, and other pollutants from an air flow stream. The catalyst composition including manganese oxide, optionally one or more of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, zinc, iron, binder, an inorganic oxide, or carbon.

A method for determining whether a testing specimen is supplied to a testing system, which includes a reaction tank in which the testing specimen reacts; a light source for emitting testing light into the reaction tank from one side of the reaction tank; and a photoelectric sensor that is placed on the side of the reaction tank opposite to the light source for receiving the testing light traveled through the reaction tank and that converts the received testing light into an electrical signal. The amount of the testing specimen to be added into the reaction tank is set so that the level of the testing specimen is above the light path of the testing light while the reaction tank is cleaned. Whether the testing specimen is supplied is determined based on the presence of change of the electrical signal output from the photoelectric sensor.

Method of determining whether there is a test sample supply

A detection system may include a reaction cell which is a container for reacting the detection sample, a light source configured to emit a detection light toward an inside of the reaction cell from one side of the reaction cell, and a photoelectric sensor arranged on the other side of the reaction cell so as to face the light source and configured to receive the detection light transmitted through the reaction cell and convert a signal of the received detection light into an electrical signal. A judging method may include judging whether or not the detection sample has been supplied based on whether or not the electrical signal output from the photoelectric sensor changes by sending an instruction to supply the detection sample to the reaction cell to the detection system in a state in which the light source and the photoelectric sensor are kept being operated. When the liquid level of the detection sample reaches an optical path of the detection light and an amount of change of the electrical signal output from the photoelectric sensor exceeds a specified threshold, it may be judged that the detection sample has been supplied. According to embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to easily, assuredly and quickly judge whether or not the detection sample has been supplied by existing devices in a detection system.

The drive pinion includes an internal axially extending lubricant channel connected to a plurality of radially extending lubricant delivery conduits. The plurality of radially extending lubricant delivery conduits extend from the internal axially extending lubricant channel radially outward to a radial surface of the drive pinion. The system is configured to transport lubricant from the internal lubricant channel through the plurality of lubricant delivery conduits to the radial surface to lubricate the drive pinion and the bearing teeth.
