A power supply circuit includes a comparator, first to third electronic switches, a D-trigger, a power supply unit (PSU), and a complex programmable logic device (CPLD). When a voltage from the PSU is greater than a reference voltage, the first electronic switch is turned on. An electronic device connected to the first electronic does not receive power from the PSU. The second electronic switch is turned on. The third electronic switch is turned off. The D-trigger outputs a low level signal to make the CPLD control the PSU stop supplying power.

Power supply circuit

When there is a memory module mounted in a memory slot, a memory power circuit provides a voltage to the memory slot. First and second power pins of the memory slot are connected. A first electronic switch is turned on. A second electronic switch is turned off. A programmable logic controller (PLC) outputs a first control signal to the memory power circuit to output the voltage to the memory slot. When there is no memory module mounted in the memory slot and the motherboard is powered on, the memory power circuit provides a voltage to the memory slot. The first and second power pins of the memory slot are disconnected. The first electronic switch is turned off. The second electronic switch is turned on. The PLC outputs a second control signal to control the memory power circuit not to output the voltage to the memory slot.

Energy-saving circuit for motherboard

A power supply device for a solid state drive (SSD) inserted into a slot of a computer includes a number of voltage input contacts, a diode, a first voltage regulating module and a second voltage regulating module connected in series. The slot includes a number of voltage output contacts and a number of signal transmitting contacts. The voltage input contacts are connected to the voltage output contacts and selectively connected to the signal transmitting contacts. The voltage input contacts obtains an initial voltage from the slot from the voltage output contacts or the signal transmitting contacts. The first voltage regulating module boosts the initial voltage. The second voltage regulating module regulates the boosted voltage to a preset voltage. The diode prevents a voltage outputting from the voltage input contacts to the signal transmitting contacts.

Power supply device for solid state drive

A password input device includes a display unit, an input unit and a control unit. The display unit includes a group of LCD displays for display numerals. The input unit includes a group of keys corresponding to the LCD displays. The keys are positioned on the corresponding LCD displays; the control unit creates a group of numerical key sequences, and controls the LCD displays to display the numerical key sequences through the keys.

Password input device

A power matching system is applied to a central processing unit (CPU) power supply, which includes a power control chip to regulate the frequency of the signal applied to the CPU power supply. The power control chip includes a detecting pin. The power matching system includes a control unit and a control circuit. The control unit includes a platform controller hub (PCH) to obtain information concerning a CPU, a basic input output system (BIOS) to obtain a power rating of the CPU, and an integrated baseboard management controller (IBMC) to output a required signal to the control circuit according to the power rating established. The power control chip receives the required signal from the control circuit and regulates the frequency of the signal applied to the CPU power supply.

Power matching system

A protection circuit for a memory control chip of a computer includes a controller, a switch circuit, a memory control chip, and a delay circuit. The controller outputs a high level control signal when the computer is in a first state, and outputs a low level control signal when the computer is in a second state. The switch circuit connects or disconnects the connection between a power pin of the memory control chip and a power terminal, according to the control signal. The delay circuit imposes a predetermined time delay for receiving a high level control signal, and outputs an enable signal to an enable pin of the memory control chip to make the memory control chip operate again, after a predetermined delay.

Protection circuit for memory control chip

A power supply system provides power to a server cabinet, which includes a number of servers. A number of sockets, first and second electrical connecting portions, first and second through holes are arranged on a power connecting board. Each socket includes a first power pin connected to the first electrical connecting portion and a first ground pin connected to the second electrical connecting portion. A number of power interfaces, third and fourth electrical connecting portions, third and fourth through holes are arranged on a base. Each power interface includes a second power pin connected to the third electrical connecting portion and a second ground pin connected to the fourth electrical connecting portion. The base is electrically connected to the power connecting board when the first connecting element engages in the first and third through holes and the second connecting element engages in the second and fourth through holes.

Power supply system for server cabinet

A central processing unit (CPU) test system includes a CPU socket, a CPU core controller, and a CPU test device. The CPU core controller stores a start voltage message. The CPU test device includes a voltage detection pin, an analog to digital (A/D) converter, and a microcontroller. The voltage detection pin detects a voltage of an electronic device connected to the CPU socket. The A/D converter converts the detected voltage into a digital signal. The microcontroller controls the CPU core controller to output the start voltage to the CPU socket according to the digital signal. The microcontroller stores a predetermined start voltage message. The microcontroller reads the start voltage message after controlling the CPU core controller to output the start voltage, and determines whether the CPU core controller supplies the start voltage to the CPU socket by comparing the read start voltage message with the predetermined start voltage message.

A device to measure power consumption includes a processor connected to a central processing unit (CPU) and a memory module, a switch for setting the power measurement device to measure either the power supplied to the CPU or the power supplied to the memory, and a display to show the results of such measurements.

A checking circuit for a serial port connector includes a first inverter, a second inverter, a third inverter, and a first light emitting diode (LED) and a second LED with different colors. An input of the first inverter is connected to a transmitted data pin of the serial port connector. An output of the first inverter is connected to an anode of the first LED. An input of the second inverter is connected to the transmitted data pin of the serial port connector. An output of the second inverter is connected to an input of the third inverter. An output of the third inverter is connected to an anode of the second LED. Cathodes of the first and second LEDs are grounded.

Checking circuit for serial port connectors

A protection circuit includes first and second electronic switches. When a CPU socket does not contain a CPU, a signal pin of the CPU socket outputs a high level signal. The first and second electronic switches are turned on. A data transmitting line of a SMBus is connected to a digital integrated chip. The parameters of the digital integrated chip can thus be regulated. When the CPU socket contains the CPU, the signal pin of the CPU socket outputs a low level signal. The first and second electronic switches are turned off. The data transmitting line of the SMBus is disconnected from the digital integrated chip, to prevent damage to the digital integrated chip.

Protection circuit for digital integrated chip

An expansion apparatus includes a serial advanced technology attachment dual-in-line memory module (SATA DIMM) with a first circuit board, an expansion card with a second circuit board, and a cable member. A first edge connector is set on a bottom edge of the first circuit board and includes a number of first power pins connected to a control chip, a number of first storage chips, and a first connector, and a number of first ground pins. A second edge connector is set on a bottom edge of the second circuit board and includes a number of second power pins connected to a number of second storage chips and a second connector, and a number of second ground pins. The cable member includes a cable, a third connector connected to the first connector, and a fourth connector connected to the second connector.

Expansion apparatus with serial advanced technology attachment dual in-line memory module

A power control circuit includes a switch circuit, a current sampling circuit, a controller, and a standby power circuit. The switch circuit is connected to an alternating current (AC) power source and an electronic device. The sampling circuit is used to sample a current of a line of the AC power source. The controller is used to determine whether the sampled current is within a predetermined range, and turn off the switch circuit if the sampled current is within a predetermined range to disconnect the electronic device from the AC power source.

Power control circuit

Used dry cell batteries having a terminal voltage less than a working voltage of a previously applied device but higher than an exhaustion voltage below which the dry cell batteries stop discharging can be used in a present provided discharging system. The used dry cell batteries are connected in series. The discharging system also includes a discharging unit, a measuring unit, a judging unit, and an indicating unit. The discharging unit discharges the used dry cell batteries. The measuring unit measures the terminal voltage of each dry cell battery. The judging unit judges if the terminal voltage of each dry cell battery is less than a preset voltage below which the dry cell battery is deemed to be exhausted. The indicating unit indicates which dry cell battery has the terminal voltage less than the preset value for replacement.

Dry cell battery discharging system

A restart circuit includes a voltage input terminal, a diode, an electronic switch, a restart signal output terminal, and a timing chip. The voltage input terminal is connected to an anode of the diode. A cathode of the diode is connected to a power pin and a reset pin of the chip and connected to a trigger pin of the chip through a resistor. A trigger pin of the chip is grounded through a capacitor. A count pin of the chip is grounded through a capacitor. A discharge pin and a threshold pin of the chip are connected and grounded through a resistor and a capacitor in that order. An output pin of the chip is connected to a control terminal of the switch. A first terminal of the switch is grounded. A second terminal of the switch is connected to the restart signal output terminal.
