An electrical connector is provided that includes an insulative body, an upper terminal module, and a lower terminal module. The upper terminal module and the lower terminal module are provided to the insulative body. The upper terminal module includes a plurality of upper terminals and an upper insulative frame, the plurality of upper terminals include multiple upper signal terminals and at least one upper ground terminal. Each upper terminal has an upper vertical segment, an upper horizontal segment and an upper bending segment connected between the upper vertical segment and the upper horizontal segment, the upper vertical segment has a first upper held portion and an upper soldering portion, the upper horizontal segment has a second upper held portion and an upper cantilevered arm portion. The upper insulative frame has a first embedding portion which embeds the first upper held portion and a second embedding portion which embeds the second upper held portion.

Electrical connector

A cable connector comprises a mating board, a plurality of cables, an organizer and a binding material. The mating board comprises a board body and a plurality of conductive portions provided on the board body. The cables are respectively electrically connected to the conductive portions. The organizer comprises an upper cap, a lower cap and a spacer interposed between the upper cap and the lower cap. The upper cap, the lower cap and the spacer cooperatively define a filling space that includes upper cable passages and lower cable passages respectively extending along the front-rear direction and respectively receiving the cables so as to allow the plurality of cables to pass through the filling space. The binding material is filled in the filling space of the organizer and fixes the plurality of cables to the organizer.

Cable connector

An electrical connector is provided with an FFC including a first insulating layer including a plurality of internal flat conductors each being elongated and having an exposed contact portion at one end and an exposed soldering portion at the other end; an electrical cable including a plurality of conductors each having a second insulating layer therearound, the conductors electrically connected to the soldering portions; and a connector housing covering a rear portion of the FFC and a front end of the electrical cable for fastening the FFC and the electrical cable. A front portion of the FFC is provided with a protective plastic plate for fastening and supporting the contact portions of the FFC and the first insulating layer.

An electrical connector assembly is provided with an insulating housing, a PCB, and an FFC. The insulating housing includes a plurality of terminals and two side extensions The FFC and the terminals are electrically connected together by the PCB. A plurality of contacts of the PCB are provided on a top surface of the PCB. A space is defined by the extensions and two rearward inclined members on both sides of the insulating housing respectively with each rearward inclined member joining the insulating housing and the extension. The PCB is disposed in the space.

Electrical connector assembly

A SATA connector assembly is provided with an insulating housing, a plurality of data and power terminals, a PCB and an FFC, wherein the data and power terminals inserted in the insulating housing, the PCB secured to the insulating housing, the FFC soldered on the PCB, the data and power terminals are electrically interconnected the FFC by the PCB. The provision of the unitary construction feature of FFC can save the production cost due to its eliminating cable management equipment and the step of cable managing processes.
