An electrical connection device is provided and includes a cable-end connector and a board-end connector. The cable-end connector includes an insulative housing and a circuit board. The insulative housing includes a housing body and a mating plate, the housing body has a front end face, the mating plate has a front end portion. The board-end connector includes an insulative base, a plurality of terminals and a metal outer shell. A mating groove is formed between the metal outer shell and the insulative base and is used to allow the mating plate to mate therewith. One of the insulative base and the metal outer shell is provided with a protruding member and when the cable-end connector reversely inserts into the board-end connector, the protruding member stops the front end portion of the mating plate.

Electrical connection device with insertion protection structure

A protective plug is provided for a connector that includes a shielding cage with an insertion space therein and a front end opening communicating with the insertion space, the front end opening has a plurality of leaf springs, each leaf spring has an elastic arm extending rearwardly and inwardly, the elastic arm has a contact portion. The protective plug includes a cover body to cover the front end opening and an insertion body, the insertion body has at least one first contact surface facing the corresponding leaf spring, the first contact surface has a leaf spring acting surface portion extending forwardly and inwardly, after the protective plug is inserted to the insertion space of the shielding cage, the contact portion of the leaf spring contacts the leaf spring acting surface portion and applies a component force toward the rear to the leaf spring acting surface portion.

Protective plug for connector

An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals and a plurality of wires. The plurality of terminals are fixed to the insulative housing, each terminal has a fixed portion fixed to the insulative housing and a contact portion and a soldering portion which are respectively connected to the fixed portion, the soldering portion of each terminal of at least a part of the plurality of terminals is formed with a bending section, and an inner surface of the bending section defines a filling space for filling a solder. A plurality of wires are respectively soldered to the soldering portions of the plurality of terminals and make the solder filled in each filling space.

Electrical connector

A cable guiding-protecting chain comprises a plurality of chain members and at least a header. The chain members have a front end and a rear end that are pivotally connected to each other to form a chain. The header is pivotally to the chain member at a distal end of the chain and the header includes a base and a cover. The base has a body with a hole formed therein and a first fastening unit is provided in the hole. The cover has two side walls spaced apart from each other, a top wall connecting the two side walls and a second fastening unit provided to the two side walls, the second fastening unit of the cover is engaged with the first fastening unit of the base in the header so as to allow the two side walls, the top wall and the base to cooperate to define a receiving space through which a cable passes.

Chain header with shield design

A cable guiding-protecting chain comprises a plurality of chain members connected in series. Each chain member comprises two connection plates which face each other and are spaced apart from each other and a first link plate and a second link plate which each connect the two connection plates. The two connection plates, the first link plate and the second link plate cooperate to define a passing space penetrating from the front to the rear. Each connection plate has an inner link portion at a front segment thereof, an outer link portion at a rear segment thereof and an outer step portion. The outer link portion has a rear end edge which is arcuate in shape and a thinned portion which is close to the rear end edge and is thinned in thickness at a side adjacent to the passing space.

Cable guiding and protecting chain

An electrical connection device comprises a receptacle connector which comprises a first insulative housing, a guide frame and a plug connector which comprises a second insulative housing. The first insulative housing has a mounting portion and a mating portion protruding from the mounting portion. The guide frame is assembled with the receptacle connector, and comprises a frame body, a female latch unit and a stopping block. The frame body is assembled to the mounting portion of the first insulative housing and has an opening to allow the mating portion to pass through. The female latch unit and the stopping block protrude from the frame body respectively and are positioned at opposite two sides and spaced apart from the mating portion to together define a mating space. The second insulative housing has a housing body and a male latch unit formed at one side of the housing body and engaged with the female latch unit. When the plug connector is incorrectly inserted, the plug connector cannot enter into the mating space to mate with the receptacle connector due to blocking from the stopping block of the guide frame.

Electrical connection device

An electrical connection device comprises a standard receptacle module, a reverse receptacle module and a connector cable module. The standard receptacle module comprises a first receptacle and a first guide frame. The first guide frame has a first positioning portion. The reverse receptacle module comprises a second receptacle and a second guide frame. The second guide frame has a second positioning portion. The connector cable module comprises a standard plug, a reverse plug and a cable. The standard plug has a third positioning portion compatible with the first positioning portion. The reverse plug has a fourth positioning portion compatible with the second positioning portion. The third positioning portion of the standard plug is incompatible with the second positioning portion of the second guide frame, and the fourth positioning portion of the reverse plug is incompatible with the first positioning portion of the first guide frame.

A SATA connector assembly is provided with an insulating housing, a plurality of data and power terminals, a PCB and an FFC, wherein the data and power terminals inserted in the insulating housing, the PCB secured to the insulating housing, the FFC soldered on the PCB, the data and power terminals are electrically interconnected the FFC by the PCB. The provision of the unitary construction feature of FFC can save the production cost due to its eliminating cable management equipment and the step of cable managing processes.

An electrical connector comprises an insertion side and a shielding shell. The shielding shell comprises a frame, and further comprises a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion which may be respectively located on two opposing sides of the frame. Each of the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion has a fixing hole, and each has a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface. The rear surface of the second mounting portion and the front surface of the first mounting portion are substantially on the same plane.

A floating type electrical connecting device, comprises: first and second electrical connectors. The first electrical connector includes a first insulating housing, and a plurality of first conductive terminals. The first insulating housing has a first mating surface, a plugging surface located on an opposite side of the first mating surface, two side surfaces respectively connected at opposite left and right sides of the first mating surface and the plugging surface, and a plurality of first terminal grooves extending from the mating surface to the plugging surface through the first insulating housing. In addition, a vertical lateral protruding edge is formed at each side surface adjacent to the first mating surface, and protruding from the side surface. The second electrical connector includes a second insulating housing, and a plurality of second conductive terminals. The second insulating housing has two sliding grooves respectively for receiving the two lateral protruding edges.
