A computer can comprise a housing, a microprocessor disposed within the housing, a display, and a communication interface communicatively coupled to the microprocessor. The computer can be configured, responsive to locating decodable indicia within content viewable on the display, to decode the decodable indicia to produce at least one decoded message. The computer can be further configured to display the content with decoded message data being embedded into the content. The decoded message data can be provided by at least one decoded message, data derived from the decoded message.

A computer system for decoding a signal of decodable indicia is disclosed. The computer system includes a laser scanner configured that outputs a signal of decodable indicia and a microprocessor that include a camera sensor interface that is configured to receive the signal from the laser scanner.

Systems and methods of writing to a storage system comprise analyzing a plurality of snapshots of data blocks of a storage device and determining a likelihood that a next first write will be to a respective data block based, at least in part, on the analyzed plurality of snapshots. A snapshot is then taken of a selected data block based, at least in part, on the respective likelihood for the selected data block, before receiving a write request to the selected data block. A write request to a respective data block is then received and data is written to the respective data block, if the snapshot of the respective data block had been taken. If the snapshot of the respective data block had not been taken, then a snapshot of the respective data block is taken. Then data is then written to the respective data block.
